This city has been a capital of numerous territories: Burgundy, Brabant, the Netherlands, Belgium and now Europe. Its refined heritage is prized by so many.
Today, the city is famous for its delicious chocolates and sweets, renowned beer, outstanding architecture and this unique way to continuously surprise you. If you let me introduce you to this legacy, I will make sure you see it, touch it and taste it!

Brussels holds some of Europe's most amazing sites!The Grand Place, World Heritage of Unesco for more than 20 years. The City Hall and the Cathedral, both masterpiece of the Gothic architecture. Manneken Pis, the Bourse, Saint-Géry, the Royal Palace and its Parc, the Saint-Hubert Galleries and even the breathtaking Mont-des-Arts.

If you are only in Brussels for a day, like we were, the Legends of Brussels walking tour is an excellent way to learn about the history of the city and to sample some of the sweets that it is well known for. Our tour began in the Grand Place - one of the most ornate historic squares that you will find in Europe. Many of the magnificent buildings which surround the square are embellished with gold leaf making the entire square glitter in the sunshine. Our guide was a history lover and provided us with a nice overview of the both the square and the city in general. The tour covered several other key attractions including the Cathedral of Saint Michael. And, along the way, we periodically stopped to enjoy some of the sweets that the city is known for including waffles and several types of chocolate. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Brussels for the first time.Our guide did a great job. He was knowledgeable, very pleasant, and kept the tour at a reasonable pace. Letting us taste waffles and chocolate made the tour even better. We would definitely recommend this tour to others.
