Stop At: Barranco, Lima Peru
The first stop on this Lima tour starts in the enchanting, bohemian Barranco district at a local roastery, Tostaduria Bisetti, where they hand-pick the coffee beans daily, for an organic Peruvian coffee. You will also tour the colonial streets of this trendy district, home to artists, musicians and the city’s top art galleries, visit the Bridge of Sighs and Barranco's main square. You'll try an exotic fruit smoothie made from lucuma at the garden cafe, La Bodega Verde.

Get a spectacular view of Lima's coastline as we pass through the city en route to our next culinary stop
Stop At: Miraflores District, Lima Peru
You’ll visit a traditional market to try exotic fruits and discover local products while learning the ancient myths and legends associated with them.
The third stop is one of the city’s delicious seafood restaurants (cebichería), Embarcadero 41 Fusión, on Avenida La Mar in the Miraflores district – a stop other tours in Lima won’t take you. You’ll discover the secrets to the perfect Cebiche and Pisco Sour as you prepare the dish and cocktail yourself with the head chef and bartender.
Duration: 2 hours
Pass By: San Isidro, Lima 15073 Peru
While we're in this part of the city, you'll have the chance to see some of the district's most iconic spots, like South America's first olive grove, el Olivar Park, pre-Incan ruins at la Huaca Huallamarca as well as the Country Club.
Stop At: Huaca Pucllana, Calle General Borgono s/n, cuadra 8, Lima 15074 Peru
The last stop, and the icing on the cake, is for more dishes and dessert at la Huaca Pucllana, a restaurant within a pre-Incan archeological complex – undoubtedly a highlight of tourism in Lima. This prestigious restaurant is so impressive that the King of Spain, Mick Jagger, and many sitting presidents, just to name a few, have made sure not to miss it during their trips to Lima. You’ll enjoy a variety of gourmet Peruvian dishes as well as four different desserts and another pisco-based cocktail.

This is one of the best food tours I have ever taken and Patricia is the best tour guide! I researched several before choosing this option. I did the morning one that includes coffee and breakfast, a smoothie with unique Peruvian fruit (mine was with almond milk since I am lactose intolerant) and a visit to a market to learn and taste some unique fruits (and I bought some - yum) and a pisco sour demonstration and tasting along with making coconut ceviche, plus many more foods, ending with a restaurant at an archaeological site with more great food and desserts. Every restaurant was so beautiful, high class, and surrounded by gardens. It was a beautiful day and I felt so satisfied afterwards. Patricia was so nice to everyone, took care of everyone's needs, and is so knowledgeable about each place. She speaks great English too. And the driver was great and smooth which is especially nice on a food tour. I highly recommend this tour. I will also make a video about this soon on my YT channel, ANOVA Travels.Excellent tour! I would highly recommend it! The food stops were perfectly suited and spaced enough with other market and historical sights. Patricia was a fantastic guide and really explained everything extremely well. Thank you Lima Gourmet Food Tours!

We had a brilliant experience on this tour with our guide Kimberley. So many different things were included, and it was such a fun and interactive tour. We learned so much about the history of Peruvian cuisine and tasted so many different delicacies. We really appreciated the many contrasts between modern and traditional restaurants, neighbourhood cafes, food markets, walks and stories. We couldn’t recommend this tour more highly!!This food tour was one of the highlights of our Lima visit - everything about it was awesome! This food tour was one of the highlights of our Lima visit - everything about it was awesome! We were picked up from our hotel on time in a very nice tour bus, we visited outstanding restaurants and neighborhoods and learned so much about the food and culture of Lima and Peru. But by far the best part of the tour was our wonderful guide, Patricia - she was warm, funny and engaging, making sure everyone on the tour felt taken care of. She shared her love of her country and her country’s food and was just a delight! Highly, highly recommend the tour! This was my tenth international food tour and I have to say it was one of the best I've been on. This was my tenth international food tour and I have to say it was one of the best I've been on. I arranged the tour to occur around the holidays and when they came to pick me up, I found out I was the only person that day so it was a private tour! The tour guides were very attentive and provided information and explanation way beyond the food I was trying. They talked about Peruvian gastronomy and its place within global cuisine, its influences, ingredients native to Peru and how they call come together to make Peruvian cuisine so unique. They were also mindful of my allergies, even though we didn't consume anything that I was allergic to anyway. The amount of food was scalable: I just had breakfast two hours before the tour started so I tried to eat everything. But they definitely offered to order more if I was hungry, so if I did go into the experience sans breakfast I still would have come away as full. Their English was great and their stories entertaining. Definite must do given Peru's importance in global cuisine.A super evening out in Lima with our guide Patricia. The three restaurants chosen were perfect. Great mixes of different types of food, tasty pisco sours and a very knowledge guide full of interesting historical information on Lima. 10/10 would recommend to all.
