Go to the feminist your if you can! Even as a local from Ljubljana and an enthusiastic "guide" to many Couchsurfers I was blow away by the number of new things I learned during these two hours. The guide Jasmina is extremely knowledgeable and presents the info in an appealing, entertaining way. And for anyone believing the old "feminism is just a form of man hating" - book the tour and see for yourself that it's just about equal representation in historical accounts of Ljubljana. One of the best walking tours I've been on. Tina had vast knowledge about the subject and surrounding area. We were only a few people, so it was very intimate. After the tour we had a few drinks together, before we all went our seperate ways - a few euros poorer, but so much richer in experience.

The tour speaks about the forgotten women of Ljubljana. It is presented by Jasmina who during the tour presents the protagonists in their historic context and takes us from the witch-hunting times to the modern divided history of Slovenia. It was certainly an eye-opener and helps to raise the awareness which is direly needed if women are ever to be recognized for their achievements equally to men. At the same time, the tour was great fun and Jasmina adapted beautifully to our group dynamics. This fascinating tour is one of the best ways to get familiar with the town center - Jasmina's talks and references are not only super fun, but they also offer you a unique perspective on the city. This fascinating tour is one of the best ways to get familiar with the town center - Jasmina's talks and references are not only super fun, but they also offer you a unique perspective on the city. I recommend it for tourists because it's a fun way to see the city, but also to locals, who can see their own town from the perspective of women's history! All in all, a wonderful experience :)Very interesting! You learn about things that not many people, who live in Ljubljana, know. I highly recommend it!
