This is the kind of tour that should definitely figure in high school curricula, someone call the Ministry of education right now please! Not only have I learned about women who wrote literature in Slovenia (about many of whom I've never even heard before, let alone knew anything about), I also had a lot of fun! I love getting to know important people from the past as whole human beings and not just as writers or poets etc. And this tourdoes that job perfectly! If you care about women and/or literature just a tiny little bit, don't hesitate, go! And if you think you don't, still go, you might change your mind :)I have never been on such a tour, it was amazing! It's so important to have gender balancing themes on tours around the world. It was fun and educational, full of interesting facts from researches or city history. Go see/hear it!

I travel a lot and as a solo traveller (I almost always travel alone) one of my highlights has become going on tours. Recently I have also started taking tour in cities I have visited or lived in as i noticed that often we are so unaware of our surroundings. I was born in Ljubljana and although I never lived there for very long, I am definitely a local. I was so impressed by this tour that I think I'll have to go again.
