This is one of the best tours I have been on! Our guide, Ilia, was very engaging and knowledgeable. As described, we went to two wineries and had the opportunity to tour and taste. We also had a wonderful lunch (per Ilia's recommendation) at L'Oceanic in the medieval city of Chinon. We learned much about the Loire Valley wines, and appellations. I highly recommend this tour!

Well, the tour description did say Cram all the best bits of the Dordogne into one full-day tour, and cram is the right word. But we had one day and this tour did what we wanted. I would say that Explore the rural villages of Beynac and La Roque Gageac was a bit of an exaggeration as we drove through with a photo stop, but we were able to return on our own, knowing that we wanted to. Our guide, Marion, was knowledgeable, friendly and her English was excellent. If you have limited time, this is a good way to spend it. It covers Sarlat and Lascaux well and helps you to see what youd like to explore in more depth.
