Stop At: Bennets Bluff Lookout, Mount Creighton 9371 New Zealand
The most scenic lookout in New Zealand
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Twelve Mile Delta to Bob's Cove Track, Glenorchy-Queenstown Road, Queenstown 9371 New Zealand
Very relaxed nature walk to a LOTR filming location over 12 mile canyon foot bridge.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Glenorchy Wharf, 4 Islay Street, Glenorchy 9372, New Zealand
Take some free time to visit one of the most photographed sheds in New Zealand and walk out over the Wharf at the top of lake Wakatipu to spot Trout and Salmon swimming, Swans feeding and the amazing scenery across to the Humboldt ranges
Enjoy our complementary picnic with assortment of sweet and savory snacks along with Tea Coffee and refreshments.

The views were amazing, breathtaking, our driver Joel was so friendly and very informative. Glenorchy was special with the wharf and red shed. Seeing Lothlorian isengaard etc were amazing.

We did a half day LOTR tour and Joel was a great tour guide - had awesome chats, really knowledgeable and super accommodating. Morning tea was a nice touch and the costumes were awesome. We went on to the actual farm of where one main filming location was and that was incredible. He also had pic...
We did a half day LOTR tour and Joel was a great tour guide - had awesome chats, really knowledgeable and super accommodating. Morning tea was a nice touch and the costumes were awesome. We went on to the actual farm of where one main filming location was and that was incredible. He also had pics from the movie to show which scenes were shot in the places we visited so we could make the connection. Keep in mind, there are lots of bugs so either cover up or take insect repellent. And wear appropriate shoes for the small walks, some areas are quite rocky or covered in sheep droppings. Kate was also great to deal with over emails, an awesome family run business to support! Well worth the money and can’t wait to do it again!CiaraCostello96

Did a tour today with Joe, absolutely excellent. Beautiful scenes and great information. He really went about and beyond to make sure we had the best trip possible. Great time dressing in brilliant costumes provided and having a wonderful picnic in a beautiful spot. Thanks so much Joe.

We decided to do one last tour before our flight and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Joel is a wonderful guide and cheerful. Felt like we were travelling with a mate as it was only us and him for the day. His LOTR knowledge was amazing and he took us to all the filming locations which blew our mind. The scenery made you feel you are in middle earth. Thats how beautiful it was. The breakfast on paradise was enjoyable. The highlight for me was trying on the costumes and playing with the swords. Im very thankful to Joel as he helped us book our parasailing. He tries to get out of his way to help us. Of all the tours we had in Queenstown, his was up there. Everything to be honest from the time I booked the tour to the when it ended. Contacted Kate to make the booking which was completed fast and with good humor, Kate is really on to it and made it easy with clear instructions and then an email confirmation. Joel was our guide for the day and collected me from my hotel and then we collected the rest our the group. Joel is a really bubbly and friendly guy also knows his stuff. Really enjoyed how he interacted with us all and you could see he wanted to give us the best time ever (which he did) We saw some stunning scenery and Joel gave us lots of information around filming locations and took us to the best spots to get photos etc. I would highly rate this trip as I learnt so much and really got the opportunity to experience some of the best places in Queenstown and close by. Don't waste time shopping around book these guys and get amongst it Joel and Kate will look after you very well. This is a quality local Kiwi family business that does everything extremely well they walk the walk and talk the talk. :)
