My favorite spot of Feast BBQ...we had the pork crab cake with slaw. The hot barbecue sauce was so good!!!I knew I would enjoy the food part of the tour. Cathy made the history part interesting and enjoyable too. I appreciated that the ugly parts of our history weren't ignored...as she said....so we can move forward.

The food was great, but what impressed most was our guide Jeremy and his knowledge and appreciation of the city. I would definitely take another of their tours next time I'm in town.

Jeremy was a great tour guide; very humorous. He did well to engage the group and play off our sense of humor. We had 6 food stops; savory, sweet, breakfast, and dessert. You will be full!!! I didn't know there was an option for non alcohol on the trip. When we got there, Jeremy was great at making exceptions/accommodations for me (I'm pregnant) . He was fantastic at making sure I knew exactly what I could and couldn't eat. There was a decent amount of walking. The sight seeing was a lot of old buildings and homes. I would recommendWe enjoyed the nice variety of restaurants and locations and the historical context of the tour. Especially appreciated the inclusion of "uncomfortable" history such as indigenous peoples who were removed from land and Louisville's role in the slave trade.
