- Please note that our Cesarine are ready and thrilled to host you in their homes! All Cesarine are always very careful and attentive of the important sanitary rules needed, even more now! The homes provide all the essential sanitary equipment for the guests (paper towels for washing hands, hand sanitizing gel and so on). Remember to always maintain 1 meter distance from each other and if not, wear masks and gloves

Wer abseits der Touristenpfade gehen möchte, könnte hier fündig werden. Man bucht ein Erlebnis bei Paola und Massimo zu Hause, wo es darum geht, von Paola zu lernen, wie man ein paar italienische Gerichte zubereitet: bei unserem Abendessen haben wir eine Art Ravioli gemacht. Neben der gemeinsam zubereiteten Speisen wird man mit weiteren Köstlichkeiten von Paola verwöhnt. Gegen Durst helfen Prosecco und natürlich italienische Weine. Auch Dolce durfte nicht fehlen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sehr wohl. Da wir uns schon auf einen Abend eingestellt haben, bei dem wir ohne Italienischkenntnisse uns mit Gastgebern mit Händen und Füßen unterhalten, waren wir umso begeisterter, dass ein Freund der Familie dabei war, der uns übersetzte. We were warmly greeted by Paola, her husband and her lifelong friend at their home. She had the whole evening planned for us. First a pasta/ravioli making demonstration and hands on activity in her kitchen. Once we were done we went into the beautifully set dining room for some prosecco and description of what the meal was going to be. We asked for a vegetarian/fish menu, which she accommodated with no problem. All of the food was delicious and of course homemade. All of the ingredients came from a local garden. Sitting around a table with a local family was a great experience and I would highly recommend it for a change from your nightly restaurant search. One thing that I would note is that they spoke little to no English. I understand Italian and can carry on a basic conversation, which made the night all the more fun. If you don't know the language you could let them know on the website and I think there is a way to work it out.shjellenberg

Would highly recommend this tour to truly experience the local food and culture of the region. Maria Paola and her family were a delight. We spent a week on the Italian Riviera and this tour was the highlight of our trip! Thank you so much for offering this type of authentic experience.
