My friend and I had Mr. Mohsen from Reflections Travel give us a tour and it was absolutely the best choice we could made to spend our time in Luxor. Mr. Mohsen was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about ancient Egyptian history and culture and we gained so much appreciation and knowledge. Our guide, Mohsen, has a 4 year degree in Egyptology plus 22 years of tour experience, a certification, and new facts learned every week from keeping up with the literature. We asked him every question we’d thought you since we landed days ago in Cairo and he had perfectly accurate and thorough answers for everything, both modern and from antiquities. He was even able to read hieroglyphs to us, including the “cartouche” symbols representing the names of famous ancient Egyptians. At such an important series of sights, we deeply needed and appreciated his interpretations. This was worth every penny, which we learned after having a less knowledgeable guide in Giza. He even had a charming Scottish accent. We will refer everyone we know to him in the future.Staff friendly and engaging. English is a challenge. Facilities are dated. Main pool was closed and we only found out on check in, which was not cool
