Abou was as pleasant and cheerful as a sunny day and he made everything so easy, he is a natural people’s person and service with sincerity. The great thing about tour with Abou is the flexibility, he will accomodate to your preference with a smile. He is also very knowledgable with the areas of interesr and he took us to places that the locals would go to hang out or relax. My guide Said was incredible. He took me around for two days showing me places I would have never ventured to on my own. He made my visit to Tangier something I will remember for the rest of my life. Both days he took me to an authentic, family run restaurant called Ba Sidi. There I had the best ...
My guide Said was incredible. He took me around for two days showing me places I would have never ventured to on my own. He made my visit to Tangier something I will remember for the rest of my life. Both days he took me to an authentic, family run restaurant called Ba Sidi. There I had the best meals of entire visit to Morocco. Each family member came over and greeted me making me feel like I was famous. You MUST eat here if you are in Tangier. It is right by the entrance to the Medina. Said took me through the Medina, various lookout points, to the lighthouse where the Mediterranean and Atlantic Oceans meet, down to the beach for a camel ride and to Hercules Cave. He pointed out historical and famous areas in the Kasbah. He has been doing this for 30 years and seems to know everyone. He encouraged me to do things I wouldn’t have done in my own. Ask for him if you want a tour and tip him well because he deserves it.
