I had very limited time to travel in Madagascar (2 days) but I wanted to see as much as possible. Francis was amazing at helping me plan my itinerary and responded to my many questions! I did a 2 day, 1 night tour to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park and was amazed at how much we were able to see and fit in, it felt much longer. Francis was a wonderful and gracious tour guide providing me with insights into the culture and customs of Madagascar. Aside from the incredible biodiversity and the wonderful lemurs, I was struck by how the tourist industry is still reeling from Covid-19. I was told tourism is at 10% of what is was prior to the pandemic. Much relies on tourism as does the upkeep of the protected rainforest and the communities that live around them. Now is a great time to plan a trip to Madagascar and Sobeha Tours is fantastic all round :)This was an amazing and well organized trip. Never were we hurried by our tour guide, Andrej. We visited four different parks in two days and came back as if we have had a two week vacation. We saw lots of lemurs, chameleons, and insects. The tour with its five destinations is very well designed and provides you with enough impressions to get a good insight and knowledge of the habitat but not more than you are able to digest. The guides were very experienced and knowledgeable, and Francis tied everything together into a great experience. Be aware that the roads are quite rough, but the destination is worth the car trip. The only issue was that the hotel (Feon' ny Ala) wasn't the one mentioned in the description of the tour, and it was somewhat mediocre (cold, dark, it took 10 minutes to get hot water, and breakfast was poor). So ensure that you get a better hotel in Andasibethis is a great trip if you have limited time but want to see many different lemurs. Francis was also an excellent guide and the hotel andasibe was perfect. totally recomended!

I booked this tour as a way to see a bit of Malagasy wildlife during the weekend of a work trip. I was not disappointed! The trip lasted for 2 days, but I feel like I was able to experience 3/4-days' worth of wildlife... and there is NOTHING like the sweet creatures you get to see on this tour! I was able to experience lemurs/reptiles in both (humane) controlled and wild settings and trekked through the rain forest in the day AND nighttime. Still can't believe all of what I saw. While the tour is jam-packed with (incredible!) activities, the hassle-free benefit of having a driver/guide organize all activities/hotels/meals for me meant that I was able to return to work on Monday without feeling tired or stressed. Highly recommended for those who are looking to maximize their time on a short weekend in Madagascar. My driver/guide, Mamy, was nothing short of incredible. Not only was he personable, kind, courteous and knowledgeable, he was a SAFE driver who also looked out for his client and the local Malagasy economy. Mamy took me to local restaurants as a way to save money, give the locals business and experience "real" Malagasy food. He also set me up with local tour guides when he could. When hotels/activities were trying to get me to spend more money, Mamy would step in to make sure no one was taking advantage of me. What a pleasure it was to spend two days with Mamy... I would recommend that everybody ask for him! LADIES: As a young solo female traveler, I felt incredibly safe with and protected by my driver. He never let me eat alone and set me up with female tour guides when he could. I highly recommend ladies request Mamy for their trip!
