The Maeklong Railway Market is exactly as it sounds. A market that takes place along the Maeklong Railway. Vendors sell everything from fruits, vegetables, and meats, to souvenirs and clothing. The train goes through the market eight times per day, and when it heads down the tracks vendors coolly move their stations out of its path.

Wat Bang Kung is one of the most unique temples in Thailand. The temple has been engulfed by the roots and branches of large banyan trees over the course of several centuries, making it completely overtaken by nature. The temple is notable for its 17-story tall pink cylindrical building with a gigantic red-and-green dragon sculpture curling around the entire height. The Rama VIII Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge crossing the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand. It was built to alleviate traffic congestion on the nearby Phra Pinklao Bridge. Construction of the bridge took place from 1999 to 2002. The bridge was opened on 7 May 2002 and inaugurated on 20 September, the birth anniversary of the late King Ananda Mahidol, after whom it is named.

Our tour guide Kaew and driver (sorry I forgot his name) are amazing! I have to say I was a little low spirited before the tour because I arrived after midnight the day before, was still severely jet-lagged, and was not used to the heat in Bangkok in June. Kaew made this day trip utterly smooth and enjoyable in spite of all of that. We were picked up from the hotel and got into a car with awesome amenity (cooler with water, sanitizing supply, reclied chair that you can lie down flat!). Kaew made sure we visit each place at a good time. We visited the railway market in the morning while it was not too crowded. Got some fresh fruit there. The Mangosteen were one of the best I have ever had. I also see many local people shopping there. Kaew is also very mindful of the religious traditions while we visit the temples, and shared details about culture and history. She took so many beautiful photos for us! The schedule is very much catered to our needs. At each stop, we were offered many options for food/snacks, but we were never presured to have anything. We had a late lunch at the end of the trip instead of eating at the floating market because we were just not feeing that hungry at noon, and Kaew happily offered alternative choices that are also very delicious. I enjoyed the rice soup at the floating market and the boat ride. There are lots of snacks and shopping opporutunities on the water. Kaew took care of all the ordering with vendors, making the best choices for us with considerations of our preferences (we don't eat spicy food). We enjoyed every dish. Kaew also offers various drinks to keep us hydrated. Our drive is also very experienced and nice. The whole ride was smooth. We never needed to wait for more than a couple minutes to get into the car. There were plenty of restroom stops throughout the day. Finally, I appreciate how down-to-earth, warm-hearted and genuine Kaew is. I'd recommend her to anybody!Munirah I

Almost immediately after confirmation of tour, a chat group was set up to inform and answer queries. We got a response almost immediately to all questions too, communication was amazing! Pick up came early, which is nice, VIP small bus provided was really good. Air con was strong, seats comfy, interior v cool with colourful lightz and v clean. Driver Mister Sun was also speedy yet careful. Our guide Bas is super friendly and considerate of our needs. Helped us to take photos and had great knowledge to answer our questions in every tourist spot. We learnt a lot and made great memories thanks to him. Our favourite was the floating market where Bas let us try many local dessertz and we had lunch on the boat which was a cool alternative to a normal restaurant lunch. Which was also an option. Tip from us: wear light coloured clothing. In the afternoon it can get hot when the sun is stronger. Would highly recommend Forever Vacations as the service provided is great! The guide was exceptional in helping my husband who is slightly disabled navigate the obstacles of this trip. He suggested we take the train to the markets. This added a lot to the experience. We loved the vibrancy and cultural variety of the markets. It is a not miss excursion.

We had a great time today exploring the railway market (a unique experience!), the floating market and various temples. There’s lots of travel involved but very well worth it - and our guide Chaiya was very friendly and took lots of photos for us. Thank you for a great day!

Great for a 1-day excursion from Bangkok, feels really well organised with a break down of itinerary sent the day before. Our tour guide, Meaw, was also very knowledgeable and friendly. Perfect if you want to see the floating market and the railway market.

We were pleasantly surprised to have a guide and driver in an air conditioned van. These are some fabulous sites well outside of Bangkok that are worth the trip. The guide, Oil, is engaging and informative. A great day all around!
