It was a good trip. Bhajabulile Bhengu who was the guide was knowledgable who kept me posted with all the local history. I learnt a lot communucating with her. Our first stop was at the Phoenix settlement, 45 min drive from Durban. The local guide there was very helpful with his deep knowledge. Then we drove to Pietermaritzburg. The local guide at Pietermarirzburg (Sorry, I am unable to remember his name) was equally knowledgeable with the local history. Net Net, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Worth my while. The trip was also memorable because coincidentally the date of my tour was the date when the Mahatma was thrown out of the train at Pietermarritzburg railway station in 1893 (7th June).
