Entry:7:30am-4:30pm.The royal palace complex of the glittering 1990s reconstruction of Mandalay is impressive for its scale, with more than 40 timber buildings.

Stop At: Shwenandaw Monastery, Shwenandaw Golden Palace, Mandalay Myanmar
Shwenandaw Monastery.Fine teak monastery-temple is known for its carving, particularly the interior gilded jataka scences.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Atumashi monastery, 14th St & 63rd St, Mandalay Myanmar
Atumashi Monastery.It was built in 1857 by King Mindon and was one of the King's last great religious construction project.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Kuthodaw Pagoda & the World's Largest Book, Mandalay Myanmar
Kuthodaw Pagoda.Comprises of gilded pagoda, hundreds of shrines housing inscribed marble slabs and several pavilions.

Stop At: Sanda Muni Paya, Mandalay Myanmar
The statue reportedly weights 40, 924.8 pounds.

Stop At: Kyauktawgyi Pagoda, V3V7+MVG, Mandalay, Myanmar (Burma)
Kyauktawgyi Pagoda.This is 900 tonne Buddha, 26ft tall and dressed in royal attire.

Stop At: Kusinara Pagoda, Mandalay Hill St., Mandalay Myanmar
Kusinara Pagoda located at the bottom of Mandalay hill.And this Pagoda have beautiful Buddha statue.

Stop At: Mandalay Hill, Mandalay Myanmar
Finally, we will finish our tour on Mandalay Hill.It is 760ft hill .The submit viewpoint is especially popular at sunset.After all, we will come back to your hotel.
Remark-Mahamuni Pagoda entrance fees 5000MMK for one person, Mandalay Zone fees 10000MMK for one person, Mandalay Hill entrance fees 1000MMK for one person.

We did the half day sightseeing tour with Mr Yay and it was great! We chose the 2pm pick up so we could watch the sunrise from the Mandalay Hill it was beautiful. Mr Yay is a great driver, always early for pick up but allows you to take your time with each stop it's up to you and he never rushes ...
We did the half day sightseeing tour with Mr Yay and it was great! We chose the 2pm pick up so we could watch the sunrise from the Mandalay Hill it was beautiful. Mr Yay is a great driver, always early for pick up but allows you to take your time with each stop it's up to you and he never rushes you, he's very curtious opening doors and providing free water ect and he speaks good English and will answer any questions you have but also leaves you be and doesn't keep chatting at you like some drivers which we loved. We liked Mr Yay so much we requested him to take us to Dee dote waterfall a few days later, we went on a weekday and had the place to ourselves, we would highly recommend this trip, it was pure bliss. It was A great day, since I only had 1 day extra for my personnel sightseeing. Actually I came Mandalay for business trip:P. This trip I knew Thant and Joe as navigators, both are friendly, polite and informative especially Thant,he explained a bunch of historical info. Luckily we are Buddhism which I could have same background to be easier understand in some related religious story.It was effective one day, I enjoyed many many places in Mandalay. Only regret that my time was not enough to go Bagun (landscape mountain with Pagoda &Balloons) These photos are example nicely experienced from Mandalay trip. However the driver struggled to communicate where we were going or able to make conversation. Though a pleasant chap and clean car, I was travelling alone so it was rather boring and hot (no air con) in the car. I liked the LV seat covers! Nice ...
