The team were excellent and provided a safe, enjoyable and rewarding experience. We had time before sunset to snorkel and explore the site before the sun went down and the rays came out. Sam and Karen shared their knowledge of manta rays and some fun facts, which was super interesting! We got to see 2 - 3 rays, which is a lot less than what I've heard you can see, however it didn't matter.. it was still incredible! I would highly recommend this company, they are a great bunch! It was a memorable experience on the Big Island for me.We had an amazing experience with Captain Bill. We saw so many manta rays that I couldn't count them all- at least a dozen and they kept coming back to feed! It was one of the coolest things I've ever done! I recommend it highly. We had an amazing experience with Captain Bill. We saw so many manta rays that I couldn't count them all- at least a dozen and they kept coming back to feed! It was one of the coolest things I've ever done! I recommend it highly. A few suggestions: -I was shivering cold during the manta dive, even wearing a wet suit that they gave us. Ask for a wetsuit at least 1 size smaller than they recommend as they focus on ease of getting it on/off rather than tight fit, so cold water was sloshing in for the entire dive -bring a sweatshirt for the boat ride home. You are chilled from the dive and will be happy to put on something warmWOW! What an incredible experience. WOW! What an incredible experience. This is the BEST company to book this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with, they go above and beyond in getting you ready to view these beautiful, graceful manta rays. Drew and Shauna were amazing tour guides and made you feel like ohana from the time you stepped on the boat. We truly enjoyed spending an evening with this crew and are so thankful that we got to see so many Manta Rays gliding around in the ocean. And Captain Bill’s chocolate chip cookies were YUMMY!! Until next time (this was our 2nd excursion with this company)….Mahalo❤️Went snorkeling to watch the mantas feed. Absolutely incredible! They are literally less than an inch away from you. Very knowledgeable Captain and crew, shout out to Drew, Karen, and Capt Bill! They made the experience very special with their kindness and great energy. There were other boats out there doing the same thing but this outfit does an incredible job at knowing where the mantas are going to be and using the right equipment. Our boat definitely saw the most mantas on our trip out.Amazing adventure. A fun and entertaining evening with Captain Bill, Sam and Karen. Lots to learn about Mantas and they teach it. Amazing adventure. A fun and entertaining evening with Captain Bill, Sam and Karen. Lots to learn about Mantas and they teach it. Very patient with everyone on the boat and in the water. Helpful with equipment. Warm shower is great getting out of the water. Cookies and pineapple were a welcome addition from the crew. Boat was very clean and roomy for everyone. We had an amazing experience all the way around with this company & on our tour when we went out!! My husband & I took our daughters 16 & almost 18 on the adventure tonight! Although the water is “refreshing” we enjoyed our time! We saw lots of manta rays eating, flipping, & turning! Sam & Karen kept us informed & entertained during lulls & were very helpful when I had rubber legs coming out of the water!!! Don’t forget your towels & a sweatshirt (even when it’s warm outside)!! Captain Bill is crusty, at times, but maybe that is part of the charm! He was very kind to my daughters engaged them in conversation about the boat & lights! Sam & Karen also taught us about manta rays & engaged in conversation with everyone at times during the trip!!! 😊🥰 I highly recommend this experience! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 8 thumbs up from the 4 of us!!🐠🐠🐠🐠
