This is an excellent itinerary and so is Harlem, our guide. We saw a good number of animals at Manuel Antonio thanks to him. Good eyes! The beaches were beautiful especially with the Capuchin monkeys running around. Our favorite is seeing the macaws in their natural habitat. Big thanks to this one family in Jaco who shared with us, strangers, freshly cooked chicharones when we were just passing by. It can be a long drive home depending on traffic getting into San Jose. Our guide, Omar, was excellent. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped off at our next in Manuel Antonio. Today my husband and I went on a day tour to Manuel Antonio and it was INCREDIBLE. We had an AMAZING tour guide, Alex. He was very knowledgeable, funny, interactive, and patient with the group! We started driving from San Jose early in the morning and we’re on our way to the fruit market to get some delicious breakfast. After, we were off to Manuel Antonio National Park! Alex was an amazing guide in the park and had his eyes open throughout the tour to point out animals, plants, and trees to us. After walking through we finally arrived to the beach for some swimming. We then headed back and had an amazing lunch with an amazing view of the ocean! Driving back, Alex made a stop for us to see some crocodiles. This tour exceeded my expectations and I’m very happy with the overall tour and service/hospitality we received from our guide, Alex! This is a must if you are visiting Costa Rica.
