The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception is a Roman Catholic cathedral in downtown Maputo. The Cathedral is Gothic inspired in its ornaments, the cross of the Portuguese caravels from the 15th century stands out.

Stop At: Maputo City Hall, Maputo 1100 Mozambique
Maputo City Hall or Municipal Council Building of Maputo is the seat of the local government of the capital of Mozambique. The neoclassical building is located at the head of Independence Square.

Stop At: Praca da Independencia In front of Maputo City Hall, Maputo 1100 Mozambique
Independence Square is a public square and focal point of Maputo, Mozambique. It was built by the Portuguese as Mouzinho de Albuquerque Square and was dominated by a statue of Mouzinho de Albuquerque, the former governor-general of Portuguese Mozambique. The statue of Mouzinho on horseback was inaugurated in 1940. After the independence of Mozambique in 1975 the square was renamed Praça da Independência, and the statue of Mouzinho de Albuquerque was removed to Fortress and replaced by a statue of Samora Machel, the first president of Mozambique

Inaugurated in 1995 on the ruins of the old Hotel Clube built in 1898, the French-Mozambican Cultural Center (CCFM) is certainly one of the most beautiful buildings that make up the French cultural network abroad, with an emblematic style of iron architecture inherited from the era. vitoriana, which makes it stand out among the buildings classified as cultural and architectural heritage in Mozambique.

Stop At: Tunduru Botanical Gardens, Rua Henrique de Sousa, Maputo 1100 Mozambique
Located in the center of capital Maputo, the botanical garden received its current name in honor of the Tanzanian region of Tunduru, the homeland of many freedom fighters against the Portuguese colonialists. It was called the Vasco da Gama Garden before independence was declared, in 1924, on the 400th anniversary of Vasco da Gama's death, the old gate to the park was replaced with a new one, created in the Manueline style.

Maputo Municipal Market, is a work by David de Carvalho built with iron elements imported from Belgium. Inaugurated in 1901, the place sells a little of everything: various foods, fruits, vegetables, fragrant spices, objects for the home, for personal use and also souvenirs.

Maputo Railway Station is a beautiful building which serves as the main train station of the capital city of the Republic of Mozambique, Maputo. Being one of the greatest architectural works of the city, there are marble pillars, wrought iron work, which alongside with the great attention to detail together with the massive central dome it made it possible for the structure to be on the list of one of the most beautiful train stations in the world.

Stop At: Fortress of Maputo, Maputo Mozambique
The original structure on the site was a fortified trading post built about a quarter of a mile from the mouth of the Espírito Santo River by Dutch from Cape Town. The expedition consisted of 113 men, under the command of Klaas Nieuhof, in two ships, the Gouda and the Caap. Having left the Cape on February 19, 1721, they reached Maputo Bay in early April. After obtaining the authorization of the local chief, they started a wooden fort, with a pentagon plan: the Fort Lijdzaamheid. Having suffered all manner of difficulties, in about six months about half of the Europeans had perished, mainly victims of malaria. Even with the arrival of reinforcements from the Cape by the ships Zeelandia and Uno, bringing 72 more men and supplies, the scenario did not change
