Leigh was a great guide. Learned so much about Dr King Jr and some history about black community in Atlanta.Leigh, an Emory professor gave us an outstanding tour through the neighborhoods rich with Civil Rights history. The archive of recordings and photos added to the depth of the tour. An excellent and moving experience.

Walking the neighborhood, hearing not just about MLK but also the community that shaped him was really powerful - and our guide, Emily, was a fantastic story teller. Emily was very informative! I loved the way she told the story and how she seemed so enthused to be doing so! She made everyone on the tour comfortable and seems to know a lot of people that live in the neighborhood (which is great as they all spoke to her). My husband was very impressed with the information, as this was an eye opener for him. He was glad that I suggested we did this tour because he learned a lot of details that transpired before his time. I highly recommend this tour to those visiting Atlanta and to those that already live in Atlanta as you learn something new everyday!Great walking tour that included history and stories about MLK, Jr and the area. Leigh is a great storyteller and historian. It was a wonderful way to experience the area. We also went to the Ebenezer Baptist church for a Sunday morning service. Very memorable.
