We booked ourselves on the tour not knowing what to expect apart from having a good feel about it. And how glad we did. The whole experience was absolutely surreal. Meeting the friendly Quechua people and them welcoming us into their village. Jane, our guide, translating for us the knowledge and stories the Quechua people were sharing with us. It was a humbling, inspiring and unmissable experience. If you're only doing one one-day trip out of Cusco, this is it!Don’t miss out on the opportunity to spend a few hours with Jane and the incredible Quechua women of Chincerro Village. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to spend a few hours with Jane and the incredible Quechua women of Chincerro Village. From start to finish we were warmly welcomed and included, feeling like we were amongst old friends and family. The women showed us about their cultural dress, medicinal plants, cooking, dyeing alpaca and sheep wool and making handicrafts. The only problem was it went to quick and I wished I was able to speak with these amazing women, but Jane does an amazing job of translating both ways and involving everyone. This is a great social enterprise with the women and Jane all working together in this project to give the women another source of income without exploitation, Thanks again to Jane and the women of Chincerro who welcomed us so warmly,Amazing experience with Jane & the Quechua ladies. Beautiful people sharing their traditional lifestyle.
