This tour was one of the highlights of my time in Costa Rica! The family that teaches you about the culture, history and their present way of life was so interesting. I was part of a group with four other people. The family made all of us so comfortable that we were able to relax and joke with the group and the guide. We were shown how to survive in the jungle, how to make chocolate and we participated in a sweat lodge ceremony. We had a delicious lunch. Then we went and took a swim in a beautiful waterfall. The whole time was surreal. I plan to go again. This is an activity that should not be missed!
