What an amazing experience! We learned about street food culture and the reasons why it's so important to Mexico City, and tasted some wonderful tortillas, tamales, pambazos, carnitas, quesadillas, jugo, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some other delicious bites. We finished the tour with some artisan chocolate and it was a revelation. I speak enough Spanish and know enough about food to try these items on my own, but I don't have the knowledge of the Eat Mexico team to pick the best places, or to put these street dishes in the context of city life, and that's perhaps what makes this tour extra special.Clara was our guide and we had such an enjoyable morning! The food was absolutely delicious, the people/vendors were so nice, and Clara was just a lovely and informative guide. It was wonderful to walk the neighborhoods and taste all the flavors so unique to CDMX.

Thoughtfully curated tour! Nico was great and the food was delicious. His English is excellent and he described the dishes and their context perfectly. The company is also able to accommodate special needs (I’m vegetarian and there was delicious food at every stop, and my mom has some mobility challenges and they were able to make it an easy, short walk with lots of great stops in close proximity). We enjoyed seeing a part of the city and tasting food we would not otherwise have experienced. We enjoyed seeing a part of the city and tasting food we would not otherwise have experienced. It was fun to taste pulque and have the different flavors explained, and the totally unfamiliar fruit we would never see in the US was a treat. I was a little hesitant about this tour, but Clara did such a good job of evaluating our comfort zones and explaining everything that it was totally enjoyable. She also helped us understand the route back to our hotel. My only warning to older people is that the streets and sidewalks are uneven and walking requires care.We had a blast on our Eat Mexico tour.
