Everything about our trip with Monkey Business was amazing! The guides would always make us feel safe and looked after and would entertain us in the evening with jungle games. The guides were very knowledgeable about the wildlife and were always on the lookout to show us different plants and animals. We saw several orangutans, pig-tailed macaques, a hornbill, monitor lizards, a peacock, Thomas leaf monkeys, turtles, and many more exotic animals and insects. We were also provided the most delicious food- 3 meals and several snack intervals each day. I was super impressed by the food we were provided considering we were in the middle of the jungle! I would 100% recommend Monkey Business tours as all the staff will go above and beyond to help you with whatever you need and make sure you have the best time possible. If you’re doubting whether to do the jungle trek or not- just do it! It was one of the most incredible things I’ve done.We did the 3D/2N tour and it was amazing. Amazing trek (though tough on my 53 year old knees). My husband and I saw macaques, langurs, orangutans, a monitor lizard, and many really interesting birds and plants. Make sure you've got good shoes and some sandals for going through the river, and be prepared to get muddy (it is a rainforest, and the trails can be slick). Nongnong, Dedi and Josep were great guides and aided me down some of the steeper slopes. The shelters are primitive, but they have installed a toilet at each of the camp sites.
