The zip lining is amazing with sights of some of Mt Tremblant's best views. Two of the lines measure over 1km each and you're zipping through the air, 20+ meters off the ground, peaking around 100km/hr. 5 lines in all with water stations at select towers. A gondola ride to the top, and between stations there is above moderate hiking to get down. Guides recheck your harness before every launch, and I sincerely feel like the price paid was worth the quality Ziptrek invested in this operation. Truly a 5+ out of 5 experience, especially with the right preparation. What to prepare for: -Driving to the village, there is a traffic bottleneck before the parking areas. Do give yourself a little extra time to arrive. If you're there extra early, the village has plenty of shops, places to eat, and other activities to try. You're not going to sit around bored here! -Parking is an additional charge of up to $25 depending on the lot. You can prepay in the village or simply pay the lot attendant when you leave. - There's a very helpful information booth as you enter the village. They can help you get your bearings and give options on how to walk to the Adventure center. The gondola is a free option that drops you off in sight of the Adventure center but the line can be long. -Weather: I specifically asked the guides about this and basically there is no perfect way to dress. You are either cold at the top, or warm at the bottom. Remember, you will be in a harness the entire time and unable to add or remove layers of clothing. Blankets were provided at the towers. -Loose articles like phones, purses, and wallets: if you dont have zipper pockets, you are required to put loose articles in a bin that they keep at the adventure center. You won't have access to items left behind until you return in about three hours. -Hiking: MOST of the hiking is "moderate" and the average person will have no problem. HOWEVER, there are portions of the trail that are very rocky and uneven, wet and potentially muddy from water runoff, steep in places, and may not have a protective handrail with a narrow path. These portions of the hike are not for those who may lose their footing easily, or require assistance in a typical urban setting. Decent outdoor shoes are a must. -Prepare to have fun. The views from the hike are second only to the view from the zip lines. You're allowed to zip in any orientation you prefer and the lines are long enough to take a moment to take it all in. This time of year the leaf colors are changing and add to the picturesque landscapes. There are beautiful vantage points of the river and village from rock outcrops on the hike. There's a waterfall to view as well. WORTH EVERY PENNYIt was our first zip lining experience. Amazing adventure! Big thanks to our guides Nicholas and Moude for their professional work. Ziptrek tours is a very slick operation for sure. Our guides Lea and Maude were absolutely outstanding. Their enthusiasm was contagious and that really enhanced our zipline experience. It is a solid 3 hours that you partner zip lining and some small hikes in one of the most picturesque spots in Tremblant especially as the leaves are turning color now. These ladies had our group of 13 being best of friends by the end of the tour as we encouraged each other from start to finish as this zip line is like no other i have ever done. It is high and it is long from start to finish, with the most amazing views. From start to finish safety was strictly enforced and you only had to worry about enjoying yourself. My only negative would be the go pro camera given to us at the start, at no time did anyone inform us it would be 50. dollars to buy your film, which we did as we wanted the memories. Overall, I highly recommend doing the full 3 hours. Thanks for a great day. MonicaDid the express tour last weekend and returned for the full tour with my kids today! Did the express tour last weekend and returned for the full tour with my kids today! Brought my 3 kids, ages 9-12-13 and although the nerves were intense and emotions were high being so high up in the mountains and stepping onto the steps of terror, they were having a blast after the first 2 seconds of the first line. Best tour guides ever, Janika, Jason, Laura, Jahon and Alex, and 2 of which were from our hometown :) The experience and the guides left a positive impact on my children, that they are expressing interest in becoming guides with Ziptrek in a few years! Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience, we will definitely be returning in the Spring.Very fast and long zip line with wonderful views and excellent staff. Some of the rides were extremely long and very exciting. Very nice hike and waterfall view as part of the package.
