If you want to see Paradise come to Croatia, beauty is everywhere, from the islands to the beaches, from the vegetation to the historical and archeologic places, or the turquoise transparence of the water, everything is a feast for the eyes, and... the body (!) seafood is delicious, the wines a pleasure, and the Sea has a perfect temperature to swim. In the middle of these fantastic holidays, I took a tour with Lea Travel, to visit Montenegro, borders with Croatia, and it was a splendid choice. Not only the country is gorgeous, all the Bay of Kotor is amazing, seems like an emergent green lake, surrounded by impressive mountains and small Venetian and pintoresque villages, Kotor is a medieval town, filled with architecture treasures, and Budva, is strong nightlife destination, looking like Monte Carlo. The staff from Lea Travel are extremely nice and polite, taking care of all needs of the guests, I felt very welcome and safe. And the guide was very funny and interesting, explaining the interesting particularities about each place. It was a perfect day, I recomend lively this company. They have a lot of experience, an agency with tradition in Dubrovnik, and felt myself in very good hands. Thank you Lea Travel! We booked the day before and wasn’t sure what the trip would be like. We booked the day before and wasn’t sure what the trip would be like. However the whole day was planned brilliantly from the first comfort stop at a beautiful spot beside the coast to the trip to Kotor and budva. We had a toddler with us and the trip was great for her. We have to say a special mention to Paul our guide who was unbelievably brilliant. He was knowledgeable funny and made the trip an absolute pleasure. If anyone has this trip I hope you have Paul as the guide. Top marksWe took a Day Trip to Montenegro and also a Day Trip to Bosnia. Both trips were awesome. Very well organized, had no problems with the border crossing. Paul our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and sites we visited. The mountains around the bay’s is stunning. Kotor and Budva are okay and maybe not for everybody. Traffic in Montenegro is very heavy. The entire trip takes more than 12 hours. We only had 1 hour to go to the top of wall in Kotor. That’s not sufficient unless you jogging up there. Had too much time in Budva for lunch. Not much too see in Budva. City wall provides some good views. Smooth bus driver but for some people he parked to the dislike of Paul too far away from the sites. Not necessarily worth to spend such a long time in the bus. It get’s very hot in Kotor. The guide was friendly and made the trip feel organised and ran smoothly. We enjoyed the two hours in Kotor to explore the town and 2 hours in Budva was great to eat lunch. Border crossing did take a while but was out of anyone’s control. Loved this trip and would highly recommend.

First of all the tour advertised ‘hotel pick-up and drop-off’ which we received neither. We were told to wait at the bus stop at 7:20am, we arrived at 7:10am to find the bus already leaving and did not wait to pick us up. Another tour agent kindly called them to come back for us. Every other passenger was dropped to their door after the tour however the bus driver and tour guide had apparently absolutely no idea where our hotel was despite going there that morning to ‘pick us up.’ We were forced to get off the bus at an unknown location and find our way back. The tour was advertised to us as having 15 passengers in total. After the 1 hour ‘pick up’ time there were 56 passengers on the coach. The tour guide announced he would be speaking in only English and French. He spoke French basically the whole time to the 15 French speaking passengers including important instructions he only stated in French. The very little time he did speak in English it was extremely difficult to understand. He also decided to accomodate for the 2 passengers who spoke Spanish and 2 who spoke Portuguese which meant at time instructions were repeated 4 times and eventually the languages all flowed into one. We were even given maps in French with no option of an English map. It took 1h45m to get through the Croatia-Montenegro border due to all of our extra passengers. We were unable to access the toilet for the first 4 HOURS of the bus trip. The first stop we were told had a toilet, however we were not told we had to make a purchase at the restaurant to use them. We didn’t eat until 7 HOURS after departure as the first stop time in Kotor for 40 minutes did not permit time to have a sit down lunch meal and the tour guide insisted the prices were too expensive (they were not) and we HAD to eat at his restaurant at the next stop in Budva. We had 3 hours in Budva which was way too much time and Kotor was a nicer place. We spent 3 hours in Budva because 1 PERSON on the bus wanted longer to swim. The Lady of the Rocks island boat tour was mentioned on the bus as an ‘island with a church’ and we had a democratic vote of hand raising. I asked what the island was to the tour guide, his response was a church. I was looking forward to this boat tour before I went on this trip however was confused as to what island he was referring to. 7 people raised their hands because no one knew what he was talking about. After the vote he preceded to explain what it was and we were quite frustrated to find out it was indeed the boat tour we wanted and that we had missed out on it due to his incompetence. In total the tour was 13 hours. Out of this time 3h40mins were spent out of the bus. There was no information given about Montenegrin culture, history etc. instead we were given irrelevant information about Italian and Russian musicians. Work that out. I would advise anyone considering this tour to Montenegro to seriously reconsider their options.
