LGBTQ+ culture in Montreal is familiar in Le Village and Mile End -- so this Queerstory tour around Downtown was an unexpected and fabulous education! I very much appreciated a new exploration of the community's deeper roots, and how the tour represents each letter of the LGBTQIA2+ acronym. Guide/tour owner Thom has done incredible research and interviews to represent the details about queer Montreal today, in the late 20th century, and all the way back to the early settlers. I was totally enthralled throughout the tour, and feel like I got a new, more historic perspective on LGBTQ+ Montreal. How so many individuals, currently and past, have made life easier for LGBTQ+ today and Thom explained that history beautifully and thoroughly.

This is one of the best tours we have taken (and we have taken many through Viator)! Thom is so knowledgeable and so passionate about the history and important people of the LGBTQIA++ community in Montreal (and the world) and is able to convey that knowledge with enthusiasm. He has done research and interviews with some of the key participants over the years and is able to share what made these people stand up and lead, along with insights into their personalities. My wife, son and I found the tour fascinating and entertaining. Whether you have a particular interest in this topic or just want a more unique view of Montreal, I highly recommend you take this tour.Besides of being captivating and having the most adorable dog ever (love u jinkx), Thom gave an amazing tour about the Queer history of Montreal. I learnt a lot and I'll do my best to pay ot forward!
