Stop At: Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, US Highway 160 & US Hwy 163, Monument Valley, UT 84536
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

We just completed a sunrise tour and I would rate them 6 of 5 stars if possible. Our guide, Larry, was very knowledgeable and shared info on the Navajo culture and history. We were very lucky as Larry shared a traditional song about a white buffalo which was beautiful, especially in the setting of an amazing arch. Larry was also very helpful in getting those perfect pics. If you visit Monument Valley Tribal Park, make sure you book a tour with Navajo Spirit Tours. It's important to note that nearly all the tour is in the back country that you can't access without a guide, so even if you drive the valley tour road, you'll only see the sights we did by taking the tour. The large cave with the hole in the ceiling w/the stylized mohawk head. More flute .the on to petroglyph sites with explainations overall an OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE!!! Way better than a personal car tour and very educational .In Summer 2017 I did an amazing overnight tour with my wife led by John, the nicest person I met in my entire stay in US. In Summer 2017 I did an amazing overnight tour with my wife led by John, the nicest person I met in my entire stay in US. It was an experience I will always remember. The sight of the monument valley from Hunt’s Mesa is unique. Everything worked perfectly, the trip through the rocks was an adventure and we also had the opportunity to see some historical spots (like a village carved in the stone). I had the opportunity to learn more about Navajo history and culture, hear their music and stories, and this was the personal connection that made my whole experience unique. Moreover, I will always remember the silence and the distant storm and thunders on the monuments at the horizon. I recommend to have a good camera with you to capture that moments forever. But my memory keeps those moments as one of the most terrific of my life. Our guide Don was an incredible storyteller and showed us the valley with authentic pride. Adventure even better than we imagined. 3 hours of wonderful sites and learning Navajo culture. Highly recommend!

We had a great time on this tour! We customized our tour a bit as I wanted to make sure we got to see some of the spots on the self-drive route that our small rental car was unable to make it to, as well as to some of the backcountry spots only accessible by tour. I was glad to have done a tour as we were able to skip to the front of the line, as opposed to the people trying to do the self-drive, who were waiting hours to access the drive. The sites we saw in the backcountry area were fantastic! We saw plenty of arches and formations that rivaled anything we saw at Arches NP and we mostly had them all to ourselves. It was nice that we were in an airconditioned vehicle rather than a dusty open-air truckbed like some of the other tours we saw. It was also fantastic to see the traditional Navajo housing and handicrafts and learn about their culture. Lastly, we enjoyed all the stories our guide, Larry, shared with us, and it was wonderful to hear him play the flute inside a cave-like formation with fantastic accoustics. All in all, a great way to see Monument Valley!Amazing tour! The tour guide was very nice and informative about the sights, history and Navajo life. We were able to go into the restricted areas and got a good sense of the land. He was also the best photographer! I would definitely recommend this tour!
