We will meet at our one-of-a-kind working ranch: Rancho San Lorenzo. We may arrange your transportation at your own cost. The distance from downtown La Paz to the Ranch is around 30 min. At the ranch, you will be able to collect your own fresh eggs from our hen house. We will use these eggs to prepare your breakfast after your ride. Then we will head over to the horse pens where our crew will chose the best fit for you depending on weight, height and experience. Firstly you will ride around in the training pen to get comfortable with your horse and then you will ride down to a beautiful beach with our expert guides which may help you to take photos once at the beach or during your ride. You may gallop at the beach if you are an experienced rider. From there we will head back to the ranch for your fresh your mexican breakfast.
After that you may go enjoy the company of our animals or feed them. We have a variety of cows, goats, sheep, ostriches, donkeys, peacocks and more!
Can I go if I have never ridden a horse?
Yes, we will give you clear instructions on how to ride, we have several tame horses perfect for first timers.

We loved the team, the horses, the views, and the most delicious breakfast I have had in years. So much care was put into our experience, it was truly a day to remember! Can't wait to come back for the sunset ride next!

They even seranaded us as we’re riding back to the ranch. The dinner was excellent! I’d highly recommend anyone to go on this trip.

The folks at Rancho San Lorenzo went above and beyond to create a smooth, fun and satisfying experience for me. Riding a horse through the desert to the beach was great. The animals looked healthy and well cared for and my guide was extremely accommodating and offered to take photos for me. Breakfast was amazing. I was a little nervous because I have some ridiculous dietary restrictions, and the kitchen was happy to accommodate with a delicious feast to suite my needs. I spent the afternoon at the beach and enjoying the hammocks in their casita. They even arranged transportation for me and ensured that it all ran smoothly. This place is what I expected when I decided to visit La Paz. The facility, horses, staff, and owner are top-notch! Upon arrival, the staff began entertaining my kids and allowed them to feed the chickens. Once we began riding, the staff ensured our safety and were very attentive to our individual needs. After our ride, the cooks prepared an amazing feast for us with organic eggs from the farm. They literally stuffed us and I had to beg them to stop bringing more food. After breakfast, the kids were allowed to pet and feed some of the animals at the farm while I conversated with the owner (Jeffrey). Just an amazing experience with an amazing group of people. I will take advantage of the beach on my next trip. Thanks Ty for being such a great host and I will be returning to soon to hangout with you guys at the ranch! My daughter and grandchildren came for a visit (we live here) and I had not heard of Rancho San Lorenzo - and BOY are we all glad we found it! My daughter and grandchildren came for a visit (we live here) and I had not heard of Rancho San Lorenzo - and BOY are we all glad we found it! This past week, my family went TWICE!!!! After the first experience with a beach horseback ride and breakfast, then kayak and paddle boarding for the afternoon, we scheduled the MOUNTAIN trail ride, kayaking and paddle boarding at Tecolote Beach. EVERYTHING about this venue is 5 star including breakfast, staff (Thai and Erika), wranglers, horses and the owner! The photos tell the story. If you are questioning whether to do this or not DO IT! The kayaking and paddle boarding are included in the day rate, Thai event set us up at a vendor to purchase a late lunch and drinks (with shade and chairs for me) while the kids did the activities. We will go back! More grands coming late July - already planning which day(s) they will go!“T” our tour guide and event planner was one of the kindest , most social , helpful people I have ever met . “T” our tour guide and event planner was one of the kindest , most social , helpful people I have ever met . She arranged for a driver , and as soon as we got to the ranch , checked our comfort level for the day . She spoke English and went out of her way to make us feel welcome . The ride was perfect . Earlier in the day is key ( due to it being warm ) . We chose the mountain path . Both of our guides tried to speak English to mix with our broken Spanish but we had an amazing morning riding with them. We then had a breakfast that to this day at 40 Years old my husband claims Was the best breakfast of his LIFE! They even prepared a desert for his birthday . She then took us a short drive to the beach ( one of the most beautiful Beaches we have ever been on !) Gave us paddle boards to use and then we walked down the beach ( left our stuff there ) in a pile . Rented two jet skis and hopped on right away . Drove them around . 50.00 each jet ski ( US dollars) for 30 minutes . Grabbed a drink at one of the local Bars on the beach and hung around in the water . She then picked us up just like she promised and our driver returned us to our hotel. More than paid for , more than we thought this experience would be ! We will reach out to T again when we come back and I hope to send anyone heading to La Paz her way !!!
