The first stop will be the bustling historical township of Mornington.

Following the scenic coastal road through Mt. Martha and Safety Beach. Colorful bathing boxes line the foreshore in these seaside towns where the mountains meet the sea.

Stop At: Arthurs Seat State Park, Arthurs Seat Scenic Rd, Arthurs Seat, Victoria Australia

Leaving the coast and heading inland into winery country.
Arrive at Arthurs Seat, the highest point on the peninsula, where the views span across Port Phillip Bay to Melbourne.

The next stop is Sorrento, home to Victoria's first European settlement. Sorrento is a picturesque town, featuring stunning homesteads, historical buildings, the ferry terminal, and beautiful cafes and beaches. Lunch will be in one of the many Sorrento eateries.

Point Nepean National Park, surrounded by rugged coastline, is the location of the old quarantine buildings, the army barracks, and Cheviot Beach, where an Australian prime minister drowned.

Stop At: Portsea Back Beach, Portsea, Victoria 3944 Australia

View the spectacular Portsea back beach from the cliff tops. A beautiful backdrop for photos, with views across the pounding surf, dangerous rips, and dozens of reefs. This is the coastline where Australian prime minister, Harold Holt, disappeared in 1967.

Stop At: Millionaires Walk, 3498A Point Nepean Rd, Sorrento, Victoria 3943 Australia

Make sure you have your walking shoes for this visually stunning, cliff top walk between Sorrento and Portsea. Take this short undulating track between the summer mansions of Melbourne’s A-list and their private jetties below, while overlooking the breathtaking water views across Port Phillip Bay. The walk is only 1.5 kilometers return.

Stop for a coffee or wine break at the famous Portsea Hotel. Established in 1876, this gorgeous waterfront pub is one of the Peninsula's best.

The Mornington Peninsula's famous bathing boxes have always attracted photographers. The afternoon sunlight is usually the best time to snap some photos of these colourful beach huts, and the backdrop of red cliffs, and rich yellow sand.

Karin had amazing energy and knowledge of the Peninsula. She encourages you to take tim to enjoy the views. She knews a lot of the history of the area. At the peninsula you get to enjoy the beauty of both the ocean and the bay. Great guide beautiful tour.
