Every year I like to treat myself with a trip and adding this adventure was part of it. Wow! Kigali the beautiful! My guide Serge was an amazing hiking partner and since we had so much time together he answered all my questions and we had deep meaningful conversations. I have to say though…the hike is not moderate, it’s strenuous light- or we’ll say moder-uous or stren-erate . Lol! A definite combination of the two. Anyway, we trekked through a village, past rice plantations, and a red clay brick factory. When we reached the top, the views of the mountains and landscapes made me so in awe I kissed the ground. Mt. Kigali, Rwanda was so pretty I had to kiss her. I definitely recommend this trek- but, keep in mind it’s not moderate. As for the zip lining - it was okay. If you’re an adrenaline junkie it won’t excite you. It was not that high from the ground. It was fun though.
