A MUST do!!!! From pick up to drop off the guides, Dan, Hemi and Jordy were welcoming, informative, friendly and simply amazing! Dan's knowledge was in-depth and insightful and took the experience to a another level. Hemi was easy going, personable and related well to our entire group. He went above, beyond and below retrieving a wind blown cap. Jordy, despite being only three weeks on the job, did a great job supporting and contributing to the overall experience and like Hemi put himself out to retrieve misplaced belongings. Nothing like climbing a volcano on a Saturday afternoon, aye? I'm a long-time local from Whakatāne and it was awesome to see our beautiful region from the top of Mt. Tarawera. Looking down at Mt. Pūtauaki and Moutohorā just felt like a stroll in my backyard. Our guides, Dan K and Jordie were super friendly and full of great banter. I really enjoyed the history lessons too - I wished I learned that at school! Thanks team for the epic afternoon on a beautiful maunga (mountain) - I hope to be back so I can actually run down that scree!Fabulous arvo exploring magical Tarawera crater, guides Harry and Dan were awesome and we enjoyed it so much, thanks for having us, Sarah &Helen
