The beer evening was ok. We had small samples at the beer museum, but a bottle to start the tour and tall or gigantic glasses, self paid, at the two beer houses. The food and pretzels nothing "to write home about." The break at the beer garden in the English Garden on the bike tour was a lot nicer. We took the bike and beer tours and enjoyed both. Stevo and Dan we're both very knowledgeable and great tour guides. Highly recommend.

We underestimated the train time to get to the meeting point for the bike tour, but we made sure to be on time for the Bavarian Beer and Food evening. Erwin from Belgium was our guide, and he proved knowledgeable and friendly. The group was kept small, so we made some new friends and thoroughly enjoyed learning about the importance and history of beer in Bavaria and sampling local flavors of foods. The Oktoberfest Museum was really fascinating, but looks tricky without a guide.
Doing two tours in one day was hard but well worth the money! You have a few hours in between to rest. I would suggest taking it the first day in Munich as it helps you see where else in the city you would like to spend time.
