Overview
The Musandam region, separated from the rest of Oman by the United Arab Emirates, is the northern most part of the Sultanate. The dramatic Musandam peninsula is perhaps one of the most scenically spectacular area in the Gulf. These spectacular fjords have given the area a second name "The Norway of Arabia”. The peninsula is mainly inhabited by the Shihuh, who are fishermen and herdsmen and are probably descended from the original inhabitants of northern Oman. Fishing is the peninsula's main industry with packing plants at al-Khasab and Bay'ah. Transportation is mostly by sea, since no roads cross the forbidding terrain.

An experience driver will pick up from any hotel in Dubai & drive to Khasab Passing by Ras Al Khaimah & through the panoramic, coastal road, overlooking the Gulf of Arabia and the Straits of Hormuz.
Multilingual guide will meet & greet at Khasab Port & start the cruise to Spectacular Fjords of Musandam
Passing by bedouin villages & overlooking Gulf of Oman with beautiful Scenery cover by tall & Long Mountain
We assure Dolphin watching experience during the cruise where you can see dolphin jumping close to the dhow for a long time.
The dhow will anchored at historical Telegraph Island repeat station built in 1864 by the British to connect Bombay (India) with mainland Britain by an underwater and overland telegraphic cable passing via Basra in Iraq and Turkey. Enjoy swimming and snorkeling at the Telegraph Island in the pristine and calm waters of the fjord. Lunch and refreshments are served on board. Snorkeling equipment and towels will be provided on the dhow.

I made the booking for me and my family (wife + 7yo girl + 10yo boy). I thought the day trip would be too long, but there was so much to see and do during that trip. We had fantastic time with the humpback dolphins around the boat, then we went for snorkeling around beautiful tropical fishes, jumping off the Dhow in crystal water and then we went snorkeling to a 2nd spot. the crew members were fantastic and taking care of us very much, serving us cold and hot drinks and providing a delicious lunch onboard the boat. We had so much fun. Their help with the boarder crossing made it so smooth. Food was delicious. Dolphin pods, great snorkeling. We are a couple, but it would be a wonderful family experience too.

We enjoyed our daytrip from our hotel in Dubai to Khasab and back. Yousef, our driver, was great. He drove HOURS that day but was very friendly and professional with us. The boat ride through the mountains in Khasab was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the dolphins.

Was für ein wunderbarer Tag... Wir wurden pünktlich um 06:00 Uhr in unserem Hotel in Fujairah abgeholt, Fahrt ca. 2,5 Stunden inklusive Grenzübergang in den Oman, auf die Halbinsel Musandam. Ankunft in Khasab, direkt auf unser Boot, eine klassische Dhow. Die Fahrt dauerte von 09 bis 16 Uhr, also ...
Was für ein wunderbarer Tag... Wir wurden pünktlich um 06:00 Uhr in unserem Hotel in Fujairah abgeholt, Fahrt ca. 2,5 Stunden inklusive Grenzübergang in den Oman, auf die Halbinsel Musandam. Ankunft in Khasab, direkt auf unser Boot, eine klassische Dhow. Die Fahrt dauerte von 09 bis 16 Uhr, also sieben Stunden. Wir haben den ganzen großen Fjord bei Khasab befahren, bis zum hinteren Ende, ca. 17 Kilometer. Mit zwei Badestops (Snorchel-Ausrüstung und Handtücher inklusive), Besuch von Telegraph Island, einem großartigen Mittagessen inklusive frisch gegrillten Tuna, und drei wundervollen Begegnungen mit den dortigen Delphinen (zweimal wurden wir von einer Delphin Mutter mit ihrem Jungen begleitet...) Captain Malallah hat mit viel Erfahrung und Geduld immer den richtigen Moment gefunden, den Delphinen macht es anscheinend Spaß in den Wellen eines schneller fahrenden Schiffes zu schwimmen, und sie begleiten die Boote dann mehrere Minuten (wenn man Glück hat). Erwähnen möchte ich noch den zweiten Mann an Bord (Ali) und den sehr guten indischen Guide aus Khasab, dessen Namen ich leider vergessen habe. Ein ganz großartiger Tag, nicht ganz billig, aber jeden Dirham wert, und perfekt organisiert von Bushra, auch hier großes Lob, für haben die Buchung ganz easy und schnell via WhatsApp vorgenommen, alles perfekt organisiert. Volle 5 Sterne.
