First of all, even though we booked, there was no tour guide ready for us. Trip Advisor it seems had not communicated with the museum. One was found while we waited. Secondly, there was an unbalanced over emphasis on "Welcome to Country." How many times do I have to be welcomed to the country that I and my parents were born in? There is more to Australia than the atrocities of the British to the Orginal people of this land.Got a great introduction to the museum. The museum itself is free but this helped us know how the galleries were laid out and the best way to see them when we wandered through on our own.

Phar Lap’s heart is still here. A full morning or afternoon of your itinerary. The free Canberra loop bus stops here.
