Stop At: Monastir Marina, Monastir Tunisia
The marina is at the same time a port of call, of passage, of wintering and of regattas, made of the Marin.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Bourghiba Mausoleum, Route de la Falaise, Monastir 5000 Tunisia
The mausoleum built in Bourguiba's lifetime, in 1963, according to the characteristics of traditional architecture (modern Arab-Muslim style), is located in the western part of the Sidi El Mézeri cemetery, the main burial place of the city, at the end From the main alley, about 200 meters long and thirty meters wide.
The building, framed by two 25 meter high minarets, is surmounted by a golden dome that is itself surrounded by two green domes. The entrance door to the mausoleum and the grid that separates it from the rest of the cemetery are two fine examples of Tunisian art.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Ribat of Monastir, Monastir Tunisia
It is the oldest and most important of the defensive works erected along the Maghreb coast by the Arab conquerors, at the dawn of Islam.
Founded in 796, this building underwent several renovations during the medieval period. Initially, in the form of a quadrilateral, it is made up of four bodies of buildings overlooking two interior courtyards.
In addition to the small cells of the "warrior monks" who, while ensuring their military functions, devoted themselves to prayer and contemplation, the Ribat shelters two prayer rooms, the most spacious of which now houses rare collection objects of worship and crafts from medieval times.
A hundred spiral steps provide access to the lookout tower from the top of which luminous messages were exchanged at night with the towers of the neighboring ribats and which offers the visitor a superb view of the city of Monastir and the wide.
Duration: 40 minutes
Stop At: Medina of Sousse, Sousse Tunisia
The medina of Sousse is the historic heart of Sousse, listed since December 9, 1988, in the Unesco world heritage.
It is considered a typical example of the cities of the first centuries of Islam in the Maghreb. It thus retains its kasbah and ramparts but also its Great Mosque, its ribat and the Bu Ftata Mosque, a military and religious building. On Khalef's tower, there is also a lighthouse since 1890.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Sousse Archaeological Museum, RJFP+644, Rue Abou Kacem Echabi, Sousse, Tunisia
The Sousse Archaeological Museum is located in the city of Sousse, the ancient Hadrumet. It has the largest collection of mosaics in Tunisia after that of the National Bardo Museum.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Port El Kantaoui, Port El Kantaoui, Hammam Sousse, Sousse Governorate
The port is a real village, mainly pedestrian, built according to an architecture which recalls the village of Sidi Bou Saïd in its Arab-Moorish style, the whiteness of its walls, its arcades, its arches, and its alleys embellished with flowers.
The resort hosts many shops including restaurants, cafes, and shops for foreign tourists who frequent the site for its seven kilometers of beach. In addition, during the summer period, many events take place at the port including the International Internet Summer Festival (from 2000), regattas, musical scenes, etc.

I have traveled all over the world and have had many private tours. Mr Nasir, by far, has been the best. He is knowledgeable about the sights and takes deep pride in his beautiful country. He was patient, understanding, and easy to talk to. I felt comfortable with him and developed a relationship where I actually learned about the culture, political, economic, and personal beliefs of the people. We all travel to see sights and they speak for themselves, as any tour book will give the history. However, do you actually know and appreciate the typical life of a Tunisian? After two full days, I believe that I learned more than any tour book could tell me because I took the time to develop a relationship with Mr Nasir. I learned about hopes, dreams, struggles, and succeeding in a country that wants to progress. Many times, we go for “generic information” about the sights and history, but there is much more to actually traveling. It is about wanting to know the people and their lives in the county. It is about being a Tunisian for even a day. I have been to over 100 countries, but never have I met anyone so willing to talk open and honestly about the actual people of Tunisia. I believe anyone disappointed with guide should be disappointed in themselves for not taking the effort really SEE the country, which is people in a very deep and evolving culture steeped in world history. Without empathy, there is no morality. Not only did I see some of the most beautiful places in the world, but I actually talk to a wonderful human, who is of equal value with me. Because of Mr Nasir, I am leaving a better person. I recommend actually getting to know the guide because you will get to know the culture beyond the walls of a fort or mosque. I highly recommend him!Accueil, cuisine, service, personnel et direction *SUPER*. UN CADRE A L'ANCIENNE, AVEC SON AMBIANCE ROMANESQUE, J'AI BEAUCOUP AIMÉ !!! Just take a taxi/cab from Tunis to Sousse & Monastir and you will have a better time than this tour. The tour company was appalling, given how much money I spent on booking this tour. The driver was French-speaking only (I dont speak French!), the car was old and smelled, driver made multiple toilet stops and we didnt even stop at Port Kanatoui due to reasons unknown (coz I dont speak French!). Lunch is not provided (but the tour cost almost 200USD!) and we returned to Tunis early. It is possible that you might have a better experience if the guide was English speaking but I wouldnt know coz I didnt have that luxury. Do not select tours with this tour company unless you have cash to burn. Or maybe spend that extra cash on charity and you might have helped somebody who truly needs it.First time in Tunisia . We used the private service for the guide . It was very nice experience. Mme Amira was an amazing tour guide. We learned so much about the country and the culture of this beautiful place.

I had expected more of a group tour than a personal guide from the description. Was a bit awkward. Friendly guide. He asked to smoke in the car. Not every item as of the list was included in the price and I had to pay extra! I felt like the guide was in a rush, he just wanted to go more places in less time. Hotel pick up very convenient, also heads up message the night before. In the end, he offered to include another trip within this one which was on the way back and very beautiful but there was some misunderstanding regarding the price (he said 30 and meant Euros? how would I know that with the context of his national currency, also this is kinda a lot just for gas, which he said the money was for merely). Also, he kept asking which way we had parked our car and I was not so sure if he was joking because he seemed to keep getting lost at the venues.
