The park itself is incredible, the landscape is virtually untouched and the fact that was the setting of a crucial battle that was a turning point in the history of the world gives it a very special feeling. There are no words that can describe the beauty of this place, but what made it extra special was Sasha, our incredible guide. He was the perfect companion for this trip very informative, patient, gave us options to add to our itinerary and took amazing pictures of us along the way. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in nature, history, or someone who would like a great day away from the city. This is an amazing trip to the largest rainforest in Europe, the landscape is basically untouched and it’s so peaceful. Amazing experience from beginning to end ! Our guide was very timely in picking us up, spoke both English and Bosnian fluently so was able to translate any information we saw and asked about. Had small snack packs ready for us with water, chips & a pastry. The park is absolutely breath taking and contains so many historical stories that are incredible to hear from the locals who work there. There’s many options on what you can do but we choose to walk around a lot to get the most of the scenery. The tour itself is a bit pricey and does not include any entrances but I will say the tour guide was kind, reliable and helpful.
