Myths of Maui Luau Dinner and a Show
Overview
Your evening begins with a cold beverage and photo opportunities as you enjoy watching the sun dip behind the horizon of the Pacific Ocean. The dinner buffet features authentic Hawaiian fare including kalua pork cooked in a traditional imu, an underground oven that cooks the meat to tender perfection. There's even a kids' buffet featuring chicken nuggets, hot dogs, and Maui potato chips.
After dinner, the stage comes alive with rhythmic drumming, traditional Hawaiian, Tahitian, Samoan, and Maori performances and thrilling fire-knife dances. With vivid choreography and mesmerizing music, the show does more than entertain—it also tells the stories and legends of the islands.

Show was amazing, the dancers and the chief did a fantastic job! 10 out of 10 highly recommend. They also take professional photography when arriving and they did a beautiful job as well! When we arrived, we arrived right at 5:30pm. This was the time specified on the reservation. When we arrived, we arrived right at 5:30pm. This was the time specified on the reservation. We had VIP tickets and were not clear on where we should have gone. Apparently, we should have arrived earlier to get all of the perks of the VIP reservation. Due to this we didn't get our photo, early entrance etc. So, if you are going to buy the VIP tickets arrive earlier than we did. However, all of the staff were polite and helpful and the dancers were also the greeter as we found out later. We were seated at a VIP table which was very close to the stage. All of the tables were long and seated about 16-18 people. There were servers to take drink order, which is a perk of the VIP experience, I believe. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages were available. The buffet was small but each choice was tasty. There was Jasmine rice, macaroni salad, green salad with a papaya dressing, poi, teriyaki chicken, mixed vegetables, pulled pork, which I really enjoyed and had two large helpings of. There where also options for kids (chicken nuggets and mac and cheese). For dessert there was a chocolate cake and a coconut gelatin square. The show began around 6 and ended a little before 8:30pm. This show was a bit special as it was one of the dancers birthday and their family and friends were in attendance. So, there were plenty of excited cheering, Hawaiian style. The dancing and the stories told were beautiful and they kept my attention the entire time. There were also interactive parts of the show like learning hula moves and cheering on the performers. Overall, my first luau experience was great and I would recommend this experience for others. This whole show needs to be revamp. Boring, I literally feel asleep. The dancers are sleepy and going through the motion. Food was bland. Best thing is the bar. Just go to bar. There has to be a way to do a new aged luau. I would have preferred an acoustic ukulele concert over this boring mess. T...

There has to be a way to do a new aged luau. I would have preferred an acoustic ukulele concert over this boring mess. The drums sound like someone shaking a bottle of rocks. No musical talents or great singers or performers. We loved the experience. Was a little different then what we had attended before. The waitstaff was awesome.

Didn't meet expectations. The food: not awful, not great. The presentation of the food: You know how most hotel buffets are beautifully presented and often elaborate, crafted experiences? Not here. This had all the thought, care and ambiance of a buffet line in a high school cafeteria. Drinks: Beer and cocktails were ok, but the menus at the table are photocopies of photocopies - a big red flag that this is an amateur endeavor. No choice of wine, and the single available red is undrinkable plonk. (In fairness, the bartender at the self serve window was great.) As for the show: It's a noticeably smaller cast than other luaus that I've seen -- primarily just the same 6 women over and over. It was ok, but more like one of those free luau shows you might see in the Wailea Shops or Whalers Village than a big, professional performance. The most talented people of the night were the two drummers -- and the one guy tending bar. Other than that, meh.Rip off place. The show was canceled 3 minutes prior to when it was to begin. They blamed weather however the luau 100 yards away went on with no problems. Getting stuck in an angry mob of 350 people was not ok! I expect a full refund for your horrible ways.
