I have but one word about this tour and Steven and that is "PHENOMINAL". It is exceptional and I highly recommend it. After the tour I couldn't help but rave about how good it was. Everyone in our group agreed. I even tried to convince some people at our hotel to take it. For the tour, Steven covered everything related to music and more. He showed us places to see (we were all over town), told us stories about the places, suggested great places to eat, stopped at points of interest where we got out to walk around and answered all our questions. During the tour everyone was kept on their toes as Steven kept everyone involved. Steven is a very talented musician who knows many people in the music business and told us stories about his encounters and who he has played with. We were thoroughly entertained by Steven who played his guitar at several stops. One song was so touching that he had the ladies in our group very emotional. We covered a lot during the three hours. I felt that we got the full meal deal and more (supersized). I think no stone was left unturned. Steven took the time to know everyone on the tour making it a very personal tour. He was miked so everyone could clearly hear. I loved his stories and his humor. Now I know what it means when someone says "Bless your heart". He went out of his way to answer our questions (if he didn't know the answer). For example we asked about the best places for "Shrimp and Grits". Steven is witty, very knowledgeable, and very very passionate and enthusiastic about showing people his craft. You can tell that he really enjoys showing people around and playing for them, You have like it when the tour guide shows shows up almost a half hour early for the tour. He strives to be the best and excels. The tour started the moment we booked. We were contacted right away and Steven wanted to know about everyone in our group, what we were interested in etc. Throughout the tour he would talk to people by name. He was willing to customize the tour according to our needs. Going to the Blue Bird Cafe (most tours do not stop there) was on my list and he made sure we went there. Steven was also very considerate. When we were at the Bluebird a car pulled up and wanted to take pictures and he moved our group aside from the front of the cafe. Prior to our arrival to Nashville Steven sent us a message welcoming us to town and likewise just before we left. The tour didn't end when it was over, Steven encouraged us to contact him if we needed anything. He really cares and thinks about his customers. To end the tour, Steven dropped us off at Edleys (one of his favorite places to eat) and we thoroughly loved it. We were tempted to eat at his other favorite place. It was hard to see him go as we felt like we had been with a family member and good friend. We learned lots, while having a good time and fun doing it. Without giving anything about the tour away, Steven went above and beyond and provided some "Super" extras. I highly highly recommend this tour. If you want to take a tour this is a MUST DO. I believe in private personal tours and going with Steven is definitely the way to go. You'll love it. Well worth the money too! Thank you Steven for such a SUPER AWESOME tour. I can't say enough. You give STELLAR tours and all the best. Bless your heart. LOL.I really enjoyed my time with Steve today. He was a true gentleman. His background in the music business brought that aspect of Nashville to life and his recommendations for bars, restaurants and things to do and see helped make our stay in Nashville the best time we had on our holiday.
