The Nazca Lines are a unique place in the world, full of mystery and mysticism, wonderful strokes of immense figures and lines, of spectacular perfection.
We will visit the Huacachina Oasis where the huge dunes that surround the lagoon allow visitors to practice one of the most fascinating sports in the area, we are referring to the rides in the famous sand carts and the board sport on sand, popularly called Sandboarding .

What to expect
Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Nasca Lines, Nazca Peru
Our staff will pick you up from the hotel in Ica or from the bus station in Ica, then we transfer you in our tourist vehicle (group service) to the Nasca airport, which is located 150 kilometers from the Ica city center (2hrs 30min).
We will go directly to the Nasca airport which is very close to the city of Nasca.
Later we will start our flight to the Nazca Lines from Nasca Airport (The duration of the flight is between 30 to 35 minutes approximately).
The first figure we will see from the air will be the whale, a great marine divinity located on the east side of the archaeological complex.
In order to observe each figure, our pilot will fly over each design in circles.
At the end of the overflight of the Nasca lines, then we return to the Nasca airport to relax and recover energies. We will be able to use the restrooms and get some drinks for the return trip to Ica.
Finally we will return to the city of Ica (Huacachina), which is 2 hours and 30 minutes away.
Duration: 8 hours

Finally we will go to the Huacachina Oasis, which is located just 5 km from the Ica city center. We will go to our Huacachina office (La Casa de Bamboo) where visitors can make use of the restaurant and restrooms.
In the Huacachina Oasis we can offer free time to visitors (only in case we have enough time and the passengers wish to take a walk voluntarily). In this famous lagoon visitors can enjoy the tranquility of the place and walk around in search of beautiful photos.
At 4:00 pm we will start the Dune Buggy excursion from our Huacachina office (La Casa de Bamboo).

You will also be able to appreciate the sunset at the end of the Dune Buggy tour.
6:00pm (aprox) At the end of the excursion we will transfer our clients to their respective hotel in Ica.

We don’t speak Spanish and so was a little concerned about the tour, but it went smoothly. The manager Samael was easy to reach via Whatsapp and speaks English well. He was flexible to accommondate our requests in schedule adjustments. Although our driver Juan doesn’t speak English, he is very kind and has decent driving skills. We invited Juan to join us for lunch and had some nice conversations with him, using the google translation app. The experience with Nazca flight and Dune buggy were pretty good too, nothing to complain about.BogdanM245

Sam is a great host. He has well organized two events: Nazca Lines and Dune Buggy for us. His team did excellent job for picking up from and dropping off to Cruz del Sur bus station at Ica. We were really enjoyed. Highly recommended!

Sam accommodated our travel itinerary to fit all of the activities we wanted to do within the 2 days we were in Ica. When we were planning our trip back in October we were looking for travel tours/agencies that would take us to Nasca Lines, Sand buggy & surfing tour, Paracas tour and to Wine & Pisco vineyards/bodegas. My partner and I looked for agencies that could accommodate us but they were either for more days that we would like or they didn’t have all the activities we wanted to check off our list. Fortunately, we came across Sam’s agency and he was more than happy to do a modified itinerary for us at such a good price. On top of that his communication was beyond what we experienced with other tour agencies in all of our travels. He coordinated all of our transports (if it wasn’t himself picking us up/dropping us off) and he was always on time. Always updated us on ETAs and always made sure we were never hungry. And when we were, he brought us to amazing peruvian spots around Ica. Sam is also very knowledgeable about Peruvian history and told us what we needed to know about the places we visited.
