In each winery you will be introduced to its history, visit the production facilities and barrel rooms and taste at least 4 wines, which will be chosen according to your personal preferences.
The lunch will be in the form of a comprehensive platter of local products such as cheeses and cold cuts, spinach pie with feta cheese, stuffed grape leaves with rice and herbs, cherry tomatoes with cucumber and olives, olive oil, bread etc. At the end of the tasting a semi-sweet dessert wine is accompanied by dark chocolate and raisins.

We were picked up at our hotel in Nafplio by Stefano well in time and had a pleasant drive in his very clean car towards Nemea wine region. We were picked up at our hotel in Nafplio by Stefano well in time and had a pleasant drive in his very clean car towards Nemea wine region. On the way we had a very interesting and useful explanation about especially the Greek wines, which were at the time little known to us. In Nemea we visited three different wineries from small to large. In each we had a tour guided by the winery and commented by Stefano, followed by a tasting of the representative (and always good quality) wines, accompanied by tasteful snacks and a lunch. We had the tour early in our stay in Greece and apart from being great and pleasant by itself it helped us a lot choosing wines in the restaurants to come during the rest of our holiday. We love drinking wine and bought some bottles in the wineries - Stefano was helpful in arranging shipment to our home.frank v

My family and I have taken many wine tours throughout Europe, and I can truly say this was one of the best. Stefano was our guide, and he met us punctually at a convenient spot in Nafplio to start our tour. He was gracious about accommodating our two children (5 and 2 years old), even providing a booster seat for our older child. We could immediately tell that Stefano is a true expert at wine. He has extensive formal and on-the-job education in the wine industry, and his knowledge approaches the encyclopedic. We were able to discuss vineyards we have visited in the Veneto, the Duoro, and elsewhere and he was already familiar with them. We visited three lovely vineyards as part of our tour. They were well-known, high quality vineyards that I had previously found online, so I was pleased that we were visiting them. The wines were very enjoyable, and Stefano worked with the vineyard guides to explain all the elements of production. Stefano also arranged a truly memorable lunch of roasted pork on the banks of a picturesque river behind one of the vineyards. We enjoyed our meal paired with wines from the vineyard while our children collected leaves on the riverbank. We made one additional stop at an organic raisin producer where we learned how they harvest and dry raisins both by air and sun, which truly delighted my children. Stefano's tour was the perfect balance of professional and personal: he is certainly knowledgeable enough for even the most experienced wine lovers, but he made our tour entertaining for both adults and kids.AlcidesCruz
