The coast around Portixol beach hosts many secret bays, coves, and caves with underground waterfalls, but finding these alone can be a challenge. Kayaking from Portixol allows you to fully immerse yourself with nature, kayaking besides an ancient and Jurassic-like coastline, snorkelling in transparent and crystalline waters filled with life, or exploring breath-taking caves of unimaginable beauty!

What to expect
Cala el Pom
Here you will enjoy snorkelling with hundreds of fish, all whilst swimming around in an indescribable and pristine bay with tremendous underwater rocks and structures. This little beach is only accessible by sea, making it incredibly preserved and unique. Oh... did I mention, there is also an underground waterfall here!
Cap Negre
A spectacular and overwhelming rock formation that stands 100m directly above you, featuring some amazing colours that depict the natural geological processes occurring around Javea's coastline!
Isla de Portixol
On Portixol island we will visit a completely hidden and naturally-formed cave where some absolutely breathtaking photos can be taken (take a look for yourself in our gallery!) After this we will visit our famous "blue lagoon", a little water pool separated from the sea by land, measuring ten meters in depth, and portraying some of the most pristine water conditions ever seen - perfect for snorkelling and cliff jumping!

This was such an incredible experience! The parking was a little tough, but since we had to get there early it wasn't too bad (everyone parks on a steep hill). Our guide was very knowledgeable and the trip was fun overall. Although it says it is for beginners, I would say it was intermediate. There were waves and a couple people in our group capsized. It is quite strenuous to kayak in waves, so having some experience in a double kayak would be good. The caves were cool, and the secluded beach was pretty. It was fun to see all the homes and the cliffs from the blue water. I would do this again!We met our guides at the beautiful Portichol beach. We really enjoyed our kayak trip with our wonderful guides Micaela and Angel. We went as 3 adults and 3 kids with the youngest being 7yrs old. There was quite a swell so no cliff jumping for us which was a shame but understandable and prob meant more time on the kayak which we wanted. We got to venture into a huge cave where we got to snorkel and see plenty of fish and have a quick snack. We were all fine kayaking having done it before but a couple in the group struggled and the guides were really helpful with them to guide them in. A really enjoyable couple of hours which flew by.We had an unforgettable day with Esteban on the kayak tour in Cala portixol ! Amazing views and such a fun day ! Definitely the highlight of our travels so far :) also all the workers gave great recommendations of what else to do around the area :) highly recommend !

Great excursion! The cave was spectacular! The views were unbeatable! Esteban and Angel were our guides and they were exceptional. We had 2 people in our group who had never kayaked before and the guides were informative and helpful. We also had a 9 year old child with us and Esteban and Angel were a tremendous help when he felt nervous. This is my second tour with Siesta Advisor and I could not recommend them enough!
