Visit the first cemetery to begin the Rural Cemetery Movement in New Orleans. Attractions include sarcophagi, wall vaults, the Chinese Cemetery, gothic revival style tombs, coping tombs, and more.

Learn the truth about one of the biggest tragedies in American history while honoring the memory of those who passed on at the hands of it. Hear about how the layout of the cemetery was chosen, and the history of what lies beneath the monument.
