Jeffry was the best tourguide one could ask for, and I always want the best. He was extremely respectful to both - his tourists and the neighbourhood. I loved that. He would be assuming even, what thoughts and questions could possibly cross your mind and answer them. I wish all tourguides were like Jeffry: knowledegeable, respectful, polite, welcoming, warm, fun, genuine. Bottled water included (and needed!) :-) Luckily the streets of New Orleans don't require better, but the bikes themselves were in really bad condition. I mean - front handbrake hardly worked (even after one looked after it, after I asked for it), bell was bented from bike probably having fallen, the handlebar was 20% twisted. All bikes looked the same, but I am talking about the one I had. Well.. I think that's uncool compared to the cheaper prices we had for an alike tour in San Francisco and Santa Barbara, BUT heyho: more important though in my opinion is the guide, and he was perfect! Plus: NOLA has horrid streets (completely broken), but it's still easy to work them, as they are all flat and speed is easy. So: go for it!Great orientation to the city and history. Betsy was great. She had a great sense of humor and knew her stuff. She answered questions along the way and the pace was great.

Betsy lead our bike tour and we couldn't have had more fun. Felt completely safe following her through the city streets, she gave clear and concise directions and signals to follow. But best of all was the history and stories she shared during the experience. Be sure to ask for bar and restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed her suggestions.
