I've been on 4 tours of the Garden District over the past 10-15 years with various companies when visiting New Orleans. This was - by far - the best I've ever had. Katrina was a spectacular guide. He knowledge went far beyond the direct subject of the tour and she was able to provide context and color that showed she is a lifetime student of architecture and history. The tour was a great blend of her sharing specific information and allowing time for questions and conversation. Bonus points that she lives in an adjacent neighborhood and could share personal experiences that provided an even greater understanding of the joys and challenges of living and maintaining a home in this historic city. And in addition to all I learned - it was a ton of fun!Great tour! Learned a lot… couldn’t be much better. What else can I say? Can’t go wrong! Take this tour, and wear good shoes.

She is incredibly knowledgeable. We were on a smaller tour and she created an environment in which we could ask follow-up questions, which made for a very engaging tour. We look forward to coming back and taking the French Quarter tour!
