The bikes were good quality (even had a convenient basket), there’s a bathroom stop halfway through the tour, and water is provided. I had a great bike Ride with Eric with the Heart of the City tour. Originally I wanted to do Tales of Two cities, but I loved that this tour focused on the French Quarter, Marigny, St. Roch, Treme and Armstrong park. I learned so much history, religion, culture and suggestions of places to check out. I loved this tour a lot because I wanted a tour of the city, but didn’t want to walk around to all the places. Biking was a great way to get around and those parts of New Orleans are definitely bike friendly and feel very safe.Eric was an incredible guide who told very vibrant, fun and energetic stories all around the city. Eric was an incredible guide who told very vibrant, fun and energetic stories all around the city. We have done bike tours in at least half a dozen cities, and have hired dozens of guides all around the world. And I really think Eric is for the best guys we have ever had. Our group of six couples talked about him and some of his stories for at least two days afterwards. Plus it was the perfect distance to ride and just very well organized from start to finish. The guide was extremely knowledgeable! The trip was academic, entertaining, and good exercise. It was the highlight of our four day stay.

This was one of the BEST ways to kick off our trip to New Orleans. Our guide Eric was beyond incredible. Having grown up and been in New Orleans for generations, he gave us a truly insiders perspective - it was off the beaten path and exactly what we were looking for. Eric is an incredible story teller and through the lens of his own life - he opened us up to the true New Orleans. His love and respect for the city and its history set us up for the best few days spent in the Big Easy. I was a little hesitant wondering if a 3 hour bike ride would be too much for me but it was really easy riding with lots of stops and really comfortable bike seats.Next time - we will do every single tour offered by Flambeaux Bicycle Tours. Thank you Eric!!!!Eric was a GREAT tour guide! Provided us with great knowledge of New Orleans,.
