We were a party of three, and a mix of visitors and residents. And we all agree that this sunset sail to the Statue of Liberty is a special experience. Being out on the water on a beautiful evening, taking in the sights of Manhattan's skyline reflecting the setting sun is an experience for all the senses. The sunset cruise is the best time to be out on the water. The complimentary beverage (beer, wine, cider, champagne) turned into a few more for each of us, that the crew easily was able to add to my credit card from my reservation. Covid precautions ensure plenty of space between parties and everyone has an assigned "zone", taking out the rush of boarding to get the "best seats". Special experience. Would do it again in a heartbeat.Beautiful way to see the city skyline and the Statue of Liberty up close. The crew was great and very accommodating. 90 minutes was the perfect amount of time as well. Bring a jacket or sweatshirt though. It gets chilly out there when the sun goes down!

If you’re looking for a nice, smaller, clean boat, great crew, seating inside & outside, no distractions of loud speakers or noise & just the conversation between you & your family/friends- then this is a great cruise. The 7:15 Champagne Sunset Sail was just enough time for a cruise from Pier 62 along the NYC skyline, bridges, to the Statue of Liberty & back. You can get the champagne or soda or water, there is also a bar inside & bathroom. The crew was attentive to make sure we received our drinks, took a picture, were professionally dressed, and helped accommodate a wheelchair bound person. They could not have been more helpful. I would eat a small dinner beforehand and bring snacks with you- because the eating options at Chelsea piers is not good. Advice is also to definitely bring a jacket or sweater or sweatshirt if the temps go down at night or windy because once the sun goes down, it does get chilly on the water. Expect some swells from the other boats & a little rocking but not too bad. This is great for couples, families, families w/ young or teenage or adult children. I would even consider renting this for an occasion!
