Vincent was an excellent host, driver and lunch companion. Fascinating stories, a great drive through the Norman countryside, excellent lunch and he even kindly offered to drive us to the station, with luggage, at the end. We felt like GI's on leave! :D

The tour took us to all the interesting locations and have us so much more information and individual details than a guide book could. It was particularly good fun to ride in the Jeep and as it was a sunny day having the roof down was a bonus, also loved going down quiet roads and farm tracks to see the countryside along the way.Our driver & guide Kate was fantastic... she arrived on time and did everything all day to make our day most memorable. Our driver & guide Kate was fantastic... she arrived on time and did everything all day to make our day most memorable. Gave enough time, asked us if we had more , specific wishes. She has great knowledge of WW2 and history in general... really chapeau to her. Very pleasant and of course seeing the WW2 invasion sites in a Willy-jeep was an everkasting experience. Well worth the money.. we recommend everyone to go on this tour 8 hours .. and even longer seemed like 4 ... so interesting, time flies under the experienced and very nice guidance of Kate ! We saw all we wanted and as a great plus, the weather was bright and beautiful. The British cemetery. I am glad I did the tour. It made history come alive for me. I am hard of hearing, but I had no trouble understanding the guide. He spoke clearly and loud enough for me.

Our guide “Igor” was Fabulous! He was so knowledgeable, friendly and down to earth. We saw so much and took away wonderful memories and pictures! Igor provided us with the rich history and information, while at the same time giving us moments to ourselves to explore and reflect on all that happened in Normandy. It was surreal to know we were driving on the same roads and through the same towns that my husband’s father traversed all those years ago! Igor also provided us with fabulous restaraunt and pastry recommendations and obliged our request to visit the Apple farm and acquire Normandy’s “famous” cider and brandy! We only spent a full day with Igor, yet he fueled all three of the days we were in town by being totally present with us that day; providing information, answering our millions of questions, and giving us the total flavor of Normandy then and now! Thank you for a FABULOUS day in a vintage army Jeep! We’ll be back!Really interesting tour to all the most important sites of D-Day. Lovely old Jeep, it was such fun going down the country lanes and farm tracks in the beautiful countryside
