Hands down the best way to experience Normandy. Amazing time riding through side streets and back roads where tour busses cannot take you. Among the incredible history we learned on this tour of the American Cemetery, Omaha Beach, Point Du Hoc and Arromanches we also found that, just like riding on a Jetski, it’s impossible not to have a constant smile while being in a sidecar. They were amazing to spend the day with, were incredibly generous with their time, knowledgeable and it was awesome getting picked up and dropped off at our chosen locations. Bike was basically brand new. All gear was brand new and well maintained. Easily stayed warm and dry with their supplied gear and sidecar bivy on a rainy day. Thanks again!I took a two hour sidecar trip to Omaha Beach and the US cemetery nearby. So many young lives lost. Visiting the memorial is a somber experience. I took a two hour sidecar trip to Omaha Beach and the US cemetery nearby. So many young lives lost. Visiting the memorial is a somber experience. I was lucky to have a great guide who was very knowledgeable about the landing of the US and other troops of so many nationalities along the coast. I learned a lot. I also had a great trip through the beautiful Normandy countryside (so many pretty villages and farmhouses) in my motorcycle sidecar. I had never travelled this way before but now definitely recommend it! I felt safe but exhilarated! Don’t miss out on a chance to try this way of traveling!Une balade en side-car inoubliable sur les plages du débarquement à travers la campagne normande, en toute sécurité avec pour guides Manuel et Thierry, deux passionnés d’histoire ! Wonderful Trip! My wife and I will always remember this one-of-a-kind guided tour. Thierry, our guide, was safe, friendly, knowledgeable and fun. He picked us up at our Hotel Churchill and we visited Arromanches, Omaha beach, and the American War Cemetery. My wife rode in the sidecar, I rode on a separated seat behind Thierry. It was just the three of us. Thierry took us “off the beaten path” in a few places with perfect views of the French countryside and our trip in total was around 4.5 hours so we got what we paid for and more. We were a little apprehensive about the motorcycle but it proved to be both fun and safe. I would highly recommend this trip with Thierry.
