What to expect

Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Bukhara to Nurata

Stop At: Gishduvan, Uzbekistan
Pick up from hotel, drive 30km to Gishduvan famous ceramic workshop and see local artisan at work
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Nurata, Nurata, Navoiy Province
drive 100 km, visit ancient village with alexander the great fortress remnant and local Mosque
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Aydar Lake, Uzbekistan
drive 30 km to Ayder kul lake enjoy lunch and wet your feet
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Navoiy, Navoiy, Navoiy Province
Drive to Yurt Camp in Kyzyk-kum desert, camel ride, explore desert dunes, dinner with Kazach music
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 2: Drive to Ukhum, Nurata Mountain

Stop At: Ukhum, Ukhum, Jizzakh Province
Drive to Ukum, half a day visit the ancient irrigation channels, petroglyph site and national park

Day 3: Hiking sentoyb - drive to starting point

Stop At: Sentob, Sentob, Navoiy Province
Hike through the village by visiting the nearby breeding enclosure of highly endangered Severtsov’s wild sheep. According to official statistics, approximately 2000 wild sheep are outside the enclosure in the Nuratau Mountains valleys. From the enclosure, continue walking up to the ruins of local fortress Shaxi Korgon situated on the hill opposite the enclosure.

Drive back along pictures mountain roads of Jizzakh, stop at local Bazaar
