Off Road Wine Tour from Castellina
Overview
There is a sort of magic on riding through hidden gravel roads of Tuscany, “le strade bianche” that’s how we call
them. Shortcuts of rare beauty across vineyards, olive groves and deep woods that offer breathtaking views.
We will have access this way to local wineries, from small family businesses to huge realities of our wine market.
We will discover not only the natural beauty of the area but also some of the most prestigious wines of Tuscany:
Chianti Classico and all its appellations, learning all the secrets of the production, from the vines to the glass.
Tour around the fields and cellars accompanied by a wine expert local guide. Tasting various wines and spirits
and typical products such as extra virgin olive oil and organic honey, including a traditional Tuscan lunch hosted
in the most authentic setup.

Lunch was at the smallest where there a real homely feel and some delicious honey, empty plates all round. Definitely worth the money, this is an Italian wine tasting so basically it’s half a glass per tasting. Made even better by the company we had on the tour which continued on into the night.El Guia fué excelente, Filippo, el tour de lo mejor, tienen buenos recorridos en las Difentes vinicolas

I booked this tour for a group of 12 friends, it was wonderfully informative and fun. The tour guides Filipo and Paolo were very knowledgable, really funny and handled our groups shenanigans with much graciousness. They really made the tour a lot of fun. The food on this tour was some of the best I had in Italy. It is a very well rounded tour, visiting wineries of varying production capacities. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day and learned so much! This is by far the best tour we took on a 2 week vacation in Italy. Our guide, Gia(?), was very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming in introducing us to 3 wineries, including a family run winery in which a family style lunch was served. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Our tour of the Chianti region was one of the highlights of our three weeks in Italy! Our guide, Martina, was extremely knowledgeable and approachable. What a delightful young woman! The opportunity to see sights and wineries that were off the beaten path was truly a treat. the wines proved to be very good at all wineries we visited. As for lunch....it was a fantastic presentation of local farm to table fare. We would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys good wine, food, and adventure!
