A tour of Old Delhi that took us off the beaten tracks and showed us the ways of people living there. Full of illuminating comments of the whys and wherefores of things we would not otherwise have noticed like garlands hanging from telephone poles etc. Excellent snacks and tea and excellent lunch served at the end in an authentic haveli setting. Professional, courteous and humorous guide and host. We wish you all the success you deserve and will be back for more.Undoubtedly the highlight of our trip! Undoubtedly the highlight of our trip! Dhruv is a wonderful guide, knowledgeable and friendly - a local who knows all the hidden treasures of Old Delhi. Going on this tour gave us glimpses of Delhi life that are hidden to most tourists. Walking through alleys and visiting temples, shops and trying local street food paints a picture of the rich, vibrant life that exists away from the tuk-tuks and taxis on busy streets. I can't stop thinking of the sights, smells, tastes we experienced and people we met, and of all the things that we did in India, this is the one that stays in my heart. This walking tour was AMAZING! This walking tour was AMAZING! One of the best parts of the tour was the start time. The early start was practical in that the heat was not a factor. 🙂 The time was also strategic b/c the traveler gets to witness an evolution - as different parts of Old Delhi come to life in a modern day example of a local economy. This tour allows one the ooportunity to inter-mingle with the locals on the street, in markets, in a reataurant, and in Shrines and places of worship. The way the tour ends will most certainly impress! This was my fourth trip to India, but nothing has captured the essence the way Raj & Dhruv have with their tour! It's a MUST DO on your next visit to Delhi! What an experience. Was truly like having an old friend take you through their home town. What an experience. Was truly like having an old friend take you through their home town. Varun took great care of us and felt like an old friend by the end of the tour. Being able to eat a meal in the Haveli was a truly unexpected experience and we felt that we saw a side of Old Delhi that we otherwise wouldn’t. We will certainly recommend this tour to anyone we know visiting Delhi who wants to eat like a local and get to see a side of the city they otherwise would miss.
